Misaki’s p.o.v
I storm down the street… put my headphones in at full volume, a blast of fullmetal as that takes my mind off all the shit that goes down in my life, and sit in an alleyway gutter… alone, all alone *Input depressing music here* with no sign of the stupid, snobby, asshole prince and his fucked up disciple who thinks he can have my sister, just because he is the best friend of a prince and the main helper of the king, well he can go die in a hole of the bubonic plague with the dumbass prince for all I care… If I don’t get to them first. Relieved, I let down my guard for just a second and BAM!! Takumi the asshole, right there in front of me with his disciple hanging in the background spying discreetly. I was surprised he didn’t realise he was there, that, or he didn’t care.
“Misaki, are you okay?” Just hearing his voice sends me into a state of hate and contemptness.
“Why did you follow me? Just go home, or go to your next assignment” Takumi just stares at me, as if he wants something…
“What do you want?!... go away!” he goes to say something, but Ai comes up behind him and says “Come on dude, It’s getting late” He literally drags Takumi away and they disappear into the night. (Not corny at all hmm?)
THE NEXT DAY
Takumi’s p.o.v
Misa and Gou are grocery shopping at the local commoner supermarket (because they are poor af lol).
Ai and I were sent by the king to explore a commoner supermarket. We just so happen to run into Gou (Not suspicious at all),
“Oh, Takumi, Ai what are you doing here?”
Ai replies for me “We just came for a look around”
“Would you like to join Misa and I for lunch, she is just finishing up in the grocery store now.”
I respond for Ai, “Yeah, we were actually a little confused how to order food in this area.”
She nods and says,
“Here’s Misa” as she tilts her head towards the grocery store. We all look over to the direction Gou was looking, Misa is walking along with a shopping bag, she looks up and sees Gou and smiles. Her smile is amazing, it could light up an entire room. Then she glances at us, however, her smile turns into a confused look/frown. Gou explains to her what she did, and Misa says,
“Okay, whatever, but we don’t have enough money to pay for them” I offer to pay, Misa agrees with that with a thieving smile that reminds me of a monkey.
We walk over to a sushi train, and get a table for 4, we sit down and order drinks.
Minutes later our drinks arrive, Ai and I look at our drinks with confuzzled looks and say
“What is this again?” Misa tries not to roll her eyes. Gou explains to us what’s up.
“It’s Water, tap water” Misa just tries to stifle a laugh resulting in a cute little snort that spikes my love for her even more.
Gou takes some sushi off the train and places it in front of each of us. Misa digs in, Ai and I slowly follow.
Misaki’s p.o.v
I look over Takumi’s shoulder, and see Gou’s old school bully. I really hope she doesn’t notice us, she is seriously a pain.
“What’s wrong Misa?” Takumi asks, worry plastered on his face.
“It’s nothing…” I reply. I take a sip of my coffee, ouch really hot. Gou giggles at me, I roll my eyes.
I look at Gou, she has gone pale, great Haru, the bully is walking over to us well more like strutting over to us. Gou grabs my hand under the table, I give her hand a reassuring squeeze. Haru clears her throat, allowing us to know her presence, well trust me when I say I can smell bitch kilometers away.
“Hello ladies! How are you?! I missed you so much” Takumi glances over at me obviously confused, as Gou has started shaking. I say “Haru, can I have a word outside?” she says “Love too!, come on chica!” Gou has broken out into a full blown sweat. I stand up, and follow Haru outside,
“Cut the crap Haru, what do you want?” she laughs and says, “I don't want any trouble, just wanted to chat with Gou”
I say, “Not happening, get lost.” She scowls at me and pushes past me, into the shop. I hear Gou scream, I run into the store, Ai has stood up, Takumi close behind. Haru is walking over to Gou with a pissed look on her face, she lifts her open palm up to slap Gou, I quickly grab my hot coffee and throw the boiling liquid at Haru. She screams, I grab Gou’s hand and we run out of the store.
