"Alex! Alex!" Alex looked up from crafting and saw Steve, who was heading for cover. "Hey, Steve, what's up?" She asked as he ran past her, and into the house. Alex followed him, glancing up at the sky. A large, dark cloud covered the plains, and a low humming could be heard. Alex entered the house to see Steve boarding the windows. "What's going on? Why're you boarding the windows?" She asked. Steve didn't reply, pointing to the only unboarded window. The pair looked out of the window, and saw, of all things, a zombie drop from the sky and land with a thud. "A zombie? That's what you were worried about?" Alex chuckled, watching as the zombie staggered off. "Hmph. One zombie isn't nothin-" She fell silent as she heard more and more thuds, the zombie moans becoming a muted roar. "W-What...?" She turned to Steve, who gave her a grim look. "Zombie Rain." Alex made a confused sound, and Steve nodded. "Zombie Rain is a long season in which zombies fall from the sky." He explained, watching as more zombies fell. "Now do you know why I boarded up the windows?" Alex nodded, listening to the moans of zombies and the thuds of them falling.
