Kaycee adores the color of dawn.
The color of orange and pale tan blending together in harmony, along with a fairly large bright fireball in the middle, one that will burn your eyes the second you catch a glimpse of it. She likes seeing the glimmering dawn light steadily float downwards, surrounding the hazy scenery, basking things in a warm, soothing color of mid-orange. Everything suddenly feels happy.
Kaycee avidly strolled around as she passes through houses and local pedestrians, until the sight of an eye-catching star sticker on a front wall of an average, everyday house made her suddenly halt. The brunette girl curiously stares at it for a while, mesmerized by its beauty. The urge to just peel it out and made it hers steadily grew the longer she looks at it. She swiftly moved her eyes around her surroundings to check the encircling area. There's not much people, if to say, barely.
'No one would probably notice right?', she thought.
After a thoughtful minute, she cautiously peeled it out. It was all normal until a shadowy, mysterious circle suddenly appeared from the area where the star was before it got peeled out. Kaycee got pulled in before she even gets to comprehend what was happening.
Amber is on her way back home. She weren't supposed to be dismissed from school this late but since she got class duties, she got held back for a few extra minutes.
If only the organization let her use magic, she could then teleport back home in an instant.
The blonde girl let out a weary sigh before turning her head to the side to look at the vicinity. That’s when she saw it. A frightening and uncanny sight, one that made her heart skip a beat, if not completely freeze from horror. In front of her eyes, at that very moment, is the distinct scenery of a girl being pulled into a black spiral, one that looked so enthralling and entrancing, it could easily hypnotize any civilian crossing by. If only she didn't whip to her, if only she didn't grab her hand and try to pull her back, just to end up being pulled into it too. She could feel every inch of her skin stretched and pulled apart, ripped and impaled by what felt like millions of needles, all running through her at once.
It all just felt numb afterwards.
'Did I...become unconscious?'
Her face sensed a rough surface shoving and scraping up against it. It had the tangy, acidic odor of dirt. She struggled to get herself to sit back up before looking around, trying to figure out where she is, and take a grasp of how surreal it all feels, yet still became a terrifying reality.
With trembling hands, she punched them against the rough dirt wall
'I'm so gonna dieee...', she grunted, but then jumped from the harsh sound of something, or someone, falling down, followed by a loud yelp.
Startled, she nervously stuttered: ''W-who's there?"
The girl gazed up from the pitch she fell into and saw another girl who also got into somewhat same situation as her.
'Where am I?'
The girl mumbled as she turned her eyes upwards
'Leaves?'
It took her more than 3 minutes to realize she's being hung on a tree branch, with legs and hands being freely let down. She sat up cautiously and after straining herself into a good position that would hopefully not make her fall down, she roamed her eyes about, looking for a way to climb down.
The branch broke apart right at that moment.
The girl yelped as she suddenly fell down in a sitting-position. Her butt felt numb.
