James carefully considered what Valentine had said earlier, clueless as to what it might have meant.
"Romeo and Juliet? But how... how do you know...?"
He muttered under his breath.
"Hey! You alright?"
He looked over at Heather, who smiled at him.
"Y-yes..."
He turned the corner off the sidewalk into the forest.
He heard Heather follow him, at a slightly slower pace, and stopped for her.
The smile from her face was gone.
"Heather...?"
"James, I'm so sorry..."
She produced a hypodermic needle filled with a colorless liquid from the pouch around her waist.
"Heather...?!"
"I met my dad in the Land of the Undead," she explained. "He told me about how he'd been killed by... a boy with long green hair... and his father... who was called James... you...
"He told me to avenge him, because he had been sent there because he'd never got a chance to redeem himself after Jacob's murder...
"As much as I hate it, he's still my father! I have to!"
Tears emerged in her eyes.
James froze.
He couldn't bring his body defend itself, or run away.
Heather stepped forward, somewhat scared.
James couldn't move.
She stepped forwards once more.
She was now directly in front of him.
He felt a stabbing pain in his arm and fell to the ground.

James could see nothing, but could still hear and feel.
He tried to move, to pick himself up, but he couldn't.
He felt someone kneel down beside him and hold his hand.
"Oh, James!" He heard Heather gasp. "I'm so sorry! What have I done?!"
He heard her get something from the ground, a sharp intake of breath and felt another body fall on top of him.
He realised he was slowly drifting away.
Romeo and Juliet, were his last thoughts. We are Romeo and Juliet.
