Chapter Ten
Harry arrived at the castle.
Professor Albus Dumbledore, and Professor Minerva McGonagall, appeared. Both of them smiled at the students. 'Good evening. Welcome to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I am Professor Albus Dumbledore, Headmaster. Professor McGonagall is the Deputy Headmistress. She's Head of Gryffindor House. As you know, there's four houses: Gryffindor; Ravenclaw; Hufflepuff; and Slytherin. The house ghosts are: Sir Nicholas de Mimsy-Porpington, (Gryffindor); The Grey Lady, (Ravenclaw); The Fat Friar, (Hufflepuff ); and The Bloody Baron, (Slytherin). And there's Peeves, the castle's resident poltergeist. Argus Filch, is the caretaker. With him is his cat, Mrs. Norris. No student is to be caught out of their Common Rooms at night, or else he, or she, will be expelled', he warned.
'And the Forbidden Forest is also out of bounds', Professor McGonagall stated.
Once the speeches ended, all of the Prefects separated, and the Iron Doors opened, as the Sorting Hat ceremony started.

'Bell, Katie. Gryffindor!'.
'Bones, Susan. Hufflepuff!'.
'Bulstrode, Millicent. Slytherin'.
'Crabbe, Vincent. Slytherin'.
'Goyle, Gregory. Slytherin'.
'Granger. Hermoine. Gryffindor'.
Fletcher, Finch-Justin. Hufflepuff!'.
'Longbottom, Neville. Gryffindor'.
'Malfoy. Draco. Slytherin'.
'Parkinson, Pansy. Slytherin'.
'Patil, Padma. Ravenclaw'.
'Patil, Parvati. Gryffindor'.
'Potter. Harry. Gryffindor'.
Harry smiled.
He didn't want to be in Slytherin, Ravenclaw, or Hufflepuff. Yet, for him, his magical abilities wasn't known now. After the ceremony ended, everyone saw the magnificent feast on the tables. Bright candles illuminated the hall, as the four house cup banners swayed in the breeze.
The last wizards were:
'Weasley. Ron. Gryffindor'.
'Zabini, Blaise. Slytherin'.

Madam Hooch arrived.
'Now, broom sticks are for all witches, and wizards. When I say "Up", you shall move the broom in the air. Now, ready!'. And she blew the silvery colored whistle. Neville Longbottom, a Gryffindor student, couldn't fly. He went into the air, and couldn't control the broom. 'Neville Longbottom. Get down now...'. Everyone cheered.
'You think you're smart, Potter', Draco Malfoy sneered.
He flew in the air, and was on his broom too.
Harry saw a ball in the air, and knocked it out of Draco's right hand. As he moved, Professor Minerva McGonagall and Professor Albus Dumbledore stood at the window of the castle, and smiled.
She ran out of her office.

Harry was perplexed, and went to the office.
'Never have I seen such reckless behavior! You're the new Gryffindor seeker. I'll tell Oliver Wood, who is in Professor Quirrell's class'.
Harry was scared, then relief was on his face.
He wasn't expelled; he was back in the castle.
He had a pain in his scar, and knew that something bad was going to happen at Hogwarts.
