Europe has a new leader that is extremely popular. I do not know why he is so popular. He already declared martial law and basically that we do not own anything anymore. Luckily the Vatican does not fall under EU rules so this new president cannot dictate what we should do at the Vatican. Still, the population has not protested and he is taking steps to help people. This means that the Catholic Church in the EU territory cannot have its own food. The food stores that the Churches used to distribute to the poor people. This limits the help that the Church could give people. So I wrote a Papal letter to all churches saying that each parish must be a place of compassion and love. The Church must shine as an example of God's spirit. In other words as a community, we hold together and help each other. All in all, each parish needed its own Mother Theresa. Every Christian had to be a Mother Theresa for a person in need of help. If we are to make the world a better place to live in, we need to start with ourselves

One of the things that is hard about running a tent town is dealing with people's frustrations and fears. This has led to some fighting and violence in the tent town. We cannot depend on the police to come, despite that my brother is the police chief. He is too busy basking in the power he has and bullying people. I want to protect the people who live in the tent town and this is especially those that cannot defend themselves. I have a committee of people that help me organize things at the tent town. I suggested that we should not allow any weapons at tent town. This caused a huge debate as the committee thinks we need them in case the tent town gets attacked by outsiders. One even asked do I think I should do what the Bible said and let our enemies strike me on my other cheek? I tried not to slap his cheek. How was I to keep people safe if they did not want to be safe? Maybe the answers to problems I have are not the right answers.

I have been very busy lately. The police have to search people's homes for food that they have hoarded. To be honest, I do not understand why people were complaining that they were hungry. We have found so much food. Amazingly, people were willing to fight for the food they hoarded. Luckily with a few warning shots with our guns, they complied with our wishes and forfeited their food. The biggest problem I had was with my sister. She wanted to know how she was going to feed the people in her tent town. I restrained my temper and explained that rations would be given. In this way, everyone would be fed. I do not understand why she could not see that this was a great idea. It meant that everyone would get the same. I told her that she should trust President Santoro. He was taking action to make life better for everyone!

In a startling turn of events, what could have been the largest drone attack in history was mysteriously thwarted as the unmanned aerial vehicles, launched from Syria, inexplicably exploded in mid-air before reaching their intended targets in Israel. The incident, occurring at a scale never witnessed before, has left security experts and authorities baffled, grappling with the enigma surrounding the thwarted assault. The attempted drone attack believed to be orchestrated from Syrian territory, unfolded in the early hours of today. Hundreds of drones, equipped with potentially devastating payloads, took flight with the apparent intent of inflicting significant damage on strategic locations within Israel. The sheer magnitude of the assault had the potential to wreak havoc on a scale previously unseen in modern warfare. However, the unfolding drama took an unexpected turn as the drones, just moments away from their targets, mysteriously exploded in mid-air. The unexplained phenomenon has confounded military analysts and intelligence agencies, who are scrambling to decipher the cause behind the abrupt detonations that saved Israel from what could have been a catastrophic assault. Officials from both Israel and international bodies have refrained from speculating on the origin of the attack or the nature of the explosive malfunction. The lack of a clear explanation has fueled speculation and conspiracy theories, ranging from possible electronic interference to clandestine countermeasures employed by Israeli defence systems. The thwarted drone attack has sent shockwaves across the region, prompting heightened tensions and a flurry of diplomatic activities. Nations are seeking answers and demanding accountability, while Israel remains on high alert, fortifying its defences against potential future attempts.

Today, I gave a speech to the world concerning the attacks on Israel, “ In a moment of deep reflection and concern for our world, I stand before you as the Pope with a heavy heart. Recent events have shaken the foundations of our shared humanity, and I extend my prayers to those affected by the mysterious attack on Israel. In times like these, when uncertainty looms and questions outnumber answers, I call upon the world to unite in the pursuit of peace. Let us set aside our differences, embrace empathy, and work together for a future free from the shadows of conflict. The recent incident, shrouded in mystery, serves as a sombre reminder of the fragility of peace. As we navigate these tumultuous waters, my plea is simple: let us choose dialogue over war, understanding over animosity. It is in unity that we find strength, and in compassion that we discover the path to lasting peace” I was unsure how many would hear my plea. I also did not want it to look as if I was taking sides. I do not understand enough about what is happening in the Middle East and Ukraine. All I know is that there is never a winner when the answer is violence. The world needs to stop acting like cavemen and learn how to compromise. The world has enough problems besides we make it worse.

I visited Chloe's tent town today. It impressed me with the work that she had done. She lost so much since the troubles started, and yet decided not to be bitter and to give back to others. Maybe it's how she deals with the grief and the loss. She told me that she was inspired by her brother to help others. I could have told her how pious her brother was (wasn't). It was hard for me to get a word in edgeways. Chloe told me about her plans here and how she hoped that at some stage people would be able to move to a new home. I wonder if she is naive. Things are getting a lot worse, not better. Chloe also wanted me to do a mass here at her tent town. She believed that we needed God. I told her that I did not want to do masses here. I even stopped doing them at my church. It seems as if it is a waste of time praying. I find it hard to believe that God cares about us anymore. It even says in the Bible that he will allow Satan to rule the world in the end. In other words, the Bible agrees with me. Chloe looked sad and said that she would pray for me.

Vocations have been very low for a long time. Young people do not seem to want to be a priest. I always considered being a priest to be a hard thing for young people to do. You have to sacrifice a lot of things, such as love and material things. It can be a lonely job and it's hard to see the fruits of our work. Today I was told that the Catholic Church is having another problem, where many priests are leaving the priesthood. The troubles we have seen where over 2 people have died and there is bad news every day seems to have made people lose their faith and this even includes priests. From what I can hear, the priests have become huge fans of the prophet and his promises of a better future. They believe that the prophet is right when he says that we do not need God, we are intelligent and creative enough to solve the problems the world has by ourselves. It made me think that if priests could fall for the prophets flirting, then how easy would it be for a normal person? It's not only the Catholic Church that has experienced priests leaving us. Protestant churches have reported the same. It's even a problem with other denominations. I will pray for God's guidance and put my trust in him.

The tent town is like one big family and at times families can disagree with each other. It destresses me when this happens and worries me. I can understand that people are frustrated and worried. These people once had comfortable lives but have lost everything. This can lead to outbursts and at times violence. So we decided to have our own security. You can say that it is our police force. This does sound radical but society has broken down. My brother is the local police chief, but he is too busy bullying people and stealing the food we have. Our security will protect us from each other and my brother. We have enough problems in surviving. Having a bit of security where we can live in peace with each other is a step to a better future.

Something amazing happened today. President Santoro of the EU came to our village in a helicopter. At first, I thought that he wanted to visit different places to see how bad things were. This was not the case. He wanted to visit me! Out of all the people he could speak to, it was me he wanted to meet. President Santoro heard that I was doing an incredible job. He also heard that the Pope was my brother. He laughed when I told him that I do not speak with my brother. The President said that no one listens to the Pope anymore. Then he came to the point he wanted to make. He wanted me to be on his team in charge of security and Justice. It meant that I would have to move to Brussels, but that was just temporary. The President planned to move to a new HQ in the future. Needless to say, it did not take me long to pack and join the president on the helicopter for my new job. I told you that hard work pays off!

I must have a special family. I have a brother who is the Pope and another brother who works for the president. I am quite happy in my tent town, despite how depressing it can be at times. A look at the many graves is a good reason not to smile. It's bad enough that everyone lost the life that they knew, but they also have lost so many loved ones. I am the same. How I do miss my son and daughter.
