I love the human world. It is so fascinating. The most obvious part of this world is the big light ball, which is also known as the sun. It blinds me when I look at it. Probably also happens to humans also. The ground around the lab is my favorite thing about “Earth,” which is the planet the humans live on. The ground is so green, and feels so good on my paws. The softness of the grass, and the hardness of the ground. I never thought I could mix those two words together, but here we are now.
Just a little out is this big collection of buildings, which the humans call a “city.” Cities are weird. Why would you want to live in such a cramped space?
The cities look beautiful from the outside, but unsanitary and disgusting on the inside. When I walk around the city, I only try to wear a hoodie. Using jeans can look a little weird. While I’m walking around, people will sometimes come up to me, and get happy because I’m a “furry.” I don’t get why they are calling me that. They will sometimes come up to me and compliment my “fursuit” and then they ask for a hug.
When that happened for the first time, it was a long time ago. I didn’t even know what a hug was. They came up to me.
“Oh my god a furry! Can I hug you?!” They said.
I didn’t know what to say. They then started to walk towards me, with their arms open.
I opened my arms.
Then the human got closer. Before I even knew it, their head rested on my chest, with their arms wrapped around my back.
I don’t know what this feeling was, but it was nothing I’ve experienced before. I was happy. Happier than I ever have been. My whole body had a tingling sensation because this feeling was so strong. It was like you mixed happiness with content.
I never wanted it to stop.
I wanted it to last forever…
But all things come to an end…
Just like my interest for humans. They aren't interesting anymore. They are weak. I am strong.
My first ever capture of a human happened a month after the hug. I sought out to find them again. I can’t remember what they looked like, or even their gender, but I knew I had to find them again. It took me days of constant searching for them, but on the 6th day, I saw them.
When my eyes locked on, I knew exactly what to do.
I came over to them, just like anyone would.
They recognized me.
I told them to follow me. I didn’t know much of their language, but enough to say small sentences.
They followed me. I can’t remember anything about what they looked like, even though they changed my life.
We got to an area where no one could see us. It didn’t look sketchy or I was going to do something bad. I just needed somewhere no one would pay attention to.
I remember them looking at me. “Why did you bring me here? You said you had a secret.”
I looked down at them.
“I’m sorry, little one.”
I punched them…
I watched them fall…
I didn’t know what to do…
I picked them up, and took them with me to the lab. I wanted to give them a gift. Give them something they would like.
I took them back to the lab. The entrance of the lab is big and open. The room was white, with a more gray room. A big light hung down from the ceiling, right above the receptionist table. It looked more like a chill room than an entrance. There were some tables and chairs around the place. The tables were round, with a plastic black. The chairs were green, with wooden armrests.
The side had 2 sets of doors, but on the back wall had an elevator. I walked slowly to the elevator while carrying the human. I was stressing the entire period if I had killed the human. Just to make sure,I placed my hand on their heart to make sure if they were still alive.
Good.
I called down the elevator, and waited…
I looked down at the human in my arms. I just want to make them happy. “They gave me a gift, a new emotion. A new me. So in return I will give them a new self.”
*Ding*
The door opened. Blue, one of my lab partners, stepped out of the elevator. He looked at the human in my hands, and then immediately locked eyes with me.
“What are you doing with that human?” He asked
“I’m just giving it a gift,” I replied, walking into the elevator.
“What kind of gift? Are you trying-” The elevator door shut.
I felt movement on my arm. The human was opening their eyes. I let them look around. They then locked eyes on me.
“What… are you… doing?” They stuttered faintly, slowly waking up.
“I’m just giving you a gift. I promise you’ll like it,” I then sighed slowly, “but I’m sorry for what I’m about to do again.
I punched them again…
I couldn’t stop…
I couldn’t let them know…

The specimen floor. It felt nice finally having a reason to be there.
The floor was super clean and tidy, with little to no people on the floor. The floor was basically useless unless we had a subject. The floor had a T-hallway, with rooms that connected them. Some rooms were big, and some of them were small. The smaller rooms were more for data and research, as the bigger rooms were more for experimentation. But out of all the rooms, one is for me. My office. Room 5
I opened the door. It creaked open very slowly. The room was pitch black, so I flicked on the light switch that lays on the right of the doorway. The lights flickered for a bit, but then eventually the lights turned on. The room was a pristine white, which comes from the endless amount of cleaning I put into the room. The back wall of the room had a desk, which had a bunch of research materials on it. On the right of the desk was a bed, mostly used for experiments. It is very dusty, because it hasn’t been used for a long time. But other than those two things, most of the other part of the room is empty. Maybe some cabinets but nothing else.
I laid the human on the dusty bed. They were still asleep.
Good.
But once again, the same feeling that rested inside me when they hugged me. It was just calling at me.
STOP!
No one was speaking.
STOP!
STOP!
It kept on going.
STOP!
STOP!
STOP!
I wouldn’t give in. I couldn’t give in. I cut out the voices as much as I can.
After that little obstacle, I kept on working. I went to the other room on the left. to get the empty blood bag, and all the machinery that came with it. The storage room is right to the left, around the middle of the T-hallway. Though there is still light in the room, it is very dim. Boxes were stacked up all around the room. Other machinery also was in there.
When I walked into the room, the human woke up again. They were persistent or just a bad sleeper. Even though I was at the lab, with working anesthetic, I would not be able to get it in time.
I didn’t want to this time…
I punched them again…
A tear went down my face and down my entire body. Because we cry parts of us, I had to reach down, and pick up the blob.
Maybe if I use that with my blood, it could make even better results.
I opened the nearest cabinet I could find, hoping to find something to preserve the leftover part of me.
Most cabinets came out empty, but one of them did have a test tube, with a cap to put over it. I picked up the tube, and put the goo inside it. I then put the cap over the tube, and laid it on my desk. I’ll have to mix it in with my blood sample.
I was the only one that knew how to do this procedure, so I had to do it on myself.

The bag took a while to fill, but eventually it did. Our blood is the same, or very similar to human’s blood. The only difference is that our blood dissolves and merges with us when we die. That is why you can’t see our blood when we die.
I took out the needle that I used for myself, and got a replacement for theirs. I still to this day don’t know for sure if I did the whole procedure 100 percent right, but I couldn't really care. Not my body.
I then remembered this time to get the anesthetic for them. I gave them it using an injection, and just had to pray it worked. Then I lifted up the needle from where it was in my other hand. I was close to finding the vein to insert the needle in until I remembered that I haven't put in the special ingredient. I hurriedly walked to my desk again, and immediately got the goo. At the top of the blood bag was a cap just in case you needed to put in any extra substances, like my goo. I unscrewed the cap, and dropped in the part of me. It instantly mixed in with the blood, but it did taint it black. I screwed back the cap on as quickly as possible because I didn’t want anything else getting into the bag. I lifted the needle again, and found the human’s vein. I inserted the needle.
And I waited…
I waited in a different room. I trust my process. I believe in myself.
