Ivan had tidied up the dining table, he was about to move some blankets to the sofa and left the bed to Yui. It was understandable that he couldn’t react at all when he turned around and saw Yui in a towel.
“Offer your genes, in the name of the New World!” Yui stepped closer.
“W-wait a minute!” Ivan was totally clueless, only after he remembered what Natasha had said, he understood what Yui told him, “Please take care of me tonight.”
Yui left no time for Ivan to think, she pushed him down to the bed with unnatural strength. If Ivan wasn’t struggling with his life, Yui would have already kissed him.
“Stop it!” Ivan kept protesting.
Yui did not stop and proceeded to embrace him.
“Don’t do it!” Ivan used all his strength to push Yui away.
Finally, Yui was awoken.
“Is this because of me?” Yui was devastated.
“No, No.” Ivan tried to comfort her. “Just that we only know each other…”
Hearing Ivan’s words, Yui totally lost her confidence, picked up her clothes and prepared to leave.
“Thanks for the dinner.” Yui tried holding back tears, but her voice gave away.
“It’s very late, where are you going?” Ivan was concerned.
“I am just a Tier-2 Genome Agent… if I cannot produce high value embryo in time, where can I go?” Yui did not turn back, she did not want Ivan saw her crying. “I will be demoted to Tier-3 soon if I stay like this? Goodbye, Ivan.”
Of course, Ivan understood what could happen to a Tier-3. He shouted without hesitation, “Yui!”
“Yes?” Yui turned around as Ivan shouted.
“Y-you just stay with me from now on, stay here!” Ivan was determined, “Under my protection, nothing will happen to you!”
Yui could no longer hold back with Ivan’s words, she cried and embraced Ivan tight. Ivan was shocked at first, but with Yui crying, his discomfort quickly turned to a gentle smile, and caressed her gently.
