“We should be able to arrive today if we leave early, you think you can make it?” A new day had started, Ratchet was sitting down at a table looking at Vince who was coughing and shuddering. He had a blanket around him and Vivian was trying to keep him warm.

“I-I know… I know… I’ll swap….” Vince sat there shaking, he was terrified. Scared that if he does this, he’ll never come back. But what other choice does he have? Sitting there he began to cough and glow before bursting into a puff of blue smoke. “I am confused, my data bank says his name was Lazio but no you say it as LAIzo, is there some sort of a correlation error?” Mina was confused by the name dump change, she’d managed to recharge herself so she was currently focused on that as opposed to anything else at the moment.
“It’s because he’s a liar Mina, he lied so she’s saying his name to play on words with him being a liar.” Alex explained to her and Mina kept that information in her database for any future purposes.
“Understood. Blu’s alter ego is Laizo because he’s a liar.” Mina nods with a smile very proud to understand this all now, while Anderson was just regretting this more and more by the second.
“They know full well he’s a liar but they just DON’T care.”

“Perfectly fine, she’s just asleep. Are we ready to go?” Logan asked, looking at everyone, everyone nodded and then they began to leave. Blu talked with Dalia along the way as everyone geared up for their final push to the objective. Bright and early as they’d planned, stepping onto the Zeppelin. Finally grouping together they all would get on the Zeppelin and depart once more. Later down the line while going through the air Alex and Vivian were talking to one another taking their time to relax.

“Okay so what do you do then? I saw you moving around when that assassin attacked us.”

“Well if you must know, I gained the ability to manipulate time while you were asleep. Well only really stopping and slowing it for a bit.”

“Well I won it in a trial with Dad, Mina, and Ratchet. It was pretty crazy stuff so I-”

“It was part of the training and stuff we had to do to make a remedy for your affliction, it was something you got when you were eaten. I fought this guy with a missing arm and a sword and he got me good a couple times but this one stuck. “Think about it Alex, we barely liked where we were. Then we had to leave everyone we knew and moved into Dad’s old home. Just for me to get grabbed, then we’re brought here, now we have to save a world that isn’t even ours. This isn’t some kind of joke or game, it’s a real deal. Something we can die doing…”
“Which is why we’re looking for our get out of jail free card, we get home we don’t have to worry about this anymore. This isn’t our fight… But we can’t even use it. Because of that thing there.” Alex pointed to Vivian’s scarf, which she tugged on angrily before sighing and curling up. Her hands around her knees and her face against her legs.
“I’ve never missed school so much…”
“Or bedtimes.”
“Chores.”
“Stealing your sandwiches because you didn’t finish it.”
“Beating you up because you stole my sandwich when I specifically said I’d finish it… Now it just feels like we’re gonna lose all of that. We’ll just have to grow up… So fast without any measure of a full childhood… Sucks.”
“Yeah… It really does but we just gotta tough it through, the sooner we kick this world’s butt the sooner we go home. Maybe we can salvage our years.”

“You’re… Not cool… Wonder how many times… you…” Vivian fell asleep against her brother’s side as he laid there looking at the waves and the beautiful view.
“Six times, it took me six times to stop time and go grab that blanket.” He said as he began to fall asleep as well, early mornings weren’t their strong suit. Anderson walked by seeing them asleep, walking over to go wake them up. However he’d see a shadow looming over them, turning around Logan would walk past and sit down with his kids. Looking at the two of them. He’d heard it all, every second of it.

“Done, now get lost. We’re tired. That camouflaged us from any buggers out here, now shoo.” Ratchet laid there, tipped her hat down, and began to shut her systems down. Mina then came over and sat down with a smile. She put a barrier up and around them before sitting there letting a little jingle play. Anderson just watched this weird scene before him, he can’t deny. They have good rapport but this is too childish.
