I have been busy writing a short story that I have titled Hidden Manor. It focuses around the Ellwood family in 1520, it is yet another story I had completely forgotten about. Until I came across it whilst I was looking for the final part of Xīng-lóng's love, which fortunately I have not been to find. This is the problem with some of my really old stories, notes have been lost over the years, computers hard drives suddenly dying or entire desktop being deleted, have also claimed a lot of stories. One thing I will say about Hidden Manor, it is more darker than my other stories because it deals with abuse and some sexual violence. I think this is one of the reasons I did not finish it, however, since going through it with fresh eyes and with my trusted editor, I agreed with him there is a great story and the sexual violence is the backbone and not really the main focus of the story. However, we are thinking when it comes to publishing it caution is going to be a priority, I feel most likely in the beginning only the diehard fans will ever get to see it, to see what they make of it first.
