While Ivan was enjoying the time with Yui, Lotti was staring at the calendar in the kitchen. It had been a week since she last seen Ivan.
“It must be the body!” Lotti hugged herself with dismay. “Just another five years, and I will…!”
Heidi stepped into the kitchen and saw Lotti embarrassing herself, but she couldn’t ridicule her either.
“Lotti?” Heidi intentionally spoke loudly.
“Eeek! Yes!” Lotti was caught red-handed.
“Ivan is here.” Heidi sighed.
“Really!?” Lotti’s eyes sparkled with joy.
Before Heidi could answer, the excited Lotti rushed outside. She did not see a hungry, starving Ivan; she saw Ivan sitting there, dreaming about Yui and smiling.
Seeing Ivan usually made her feel happy, but looking at him like this made Lotti mad.
“Your smile is disgusting,” Lotti was startled.
“Oh…” Ivan wasn’t angry, he continued his smile awkwardly.
“I-is this because of that girl, Yui…?” Lotti probed.
“You won’t understand,” Ivan smirked weirdly.
“Idiot!” Angry Lotti smacked Ivan in the head.
“What…!?” Only then Ivan got back his senses.
Before Lotti could continue berating, she was interrupted by Ivan’s terminal ring.
“Oops, Yui has arrived. I thought I could eat something,” Ivan looked at his terminal. “Got to go, see you.”
Ivan vanished in no time, leaving Lotti alone and Heidi watching.
“Hmm… this is really…” Heidi tried to smooth the situation.
“Waaaaah!” Lotti cried without warning and hugged Heidi tight. “What should I do!?”
Heidi wanted to hide back in the kitchen, but that would be very inappropriate to push Lotti away. Everyone else in the restaurant pretended not seeing them both.
