I sigh, "Of course, sweetheart. What is it?"
"Well, I've been thinking," she says, "And I've decided that I want to be a famous actress too."
My eyes widen in surprise. "Really? But you've never acted before." "That's okay," she says. "I'm a quick learner. And I know a former actress who can teach me." I smile. "Of course sweetheart. I'm always here for you." Diamond smiles back.
"Thank you, honey. I knew I could count on you." And so, my wife's journey to become a famous actress begins. She is a quick study and learns everything about acting, while appearing in several plays. Locally and out of state.
She's a natural actress, talented, dedicated, and hardworking. Soon, Diamond starts getting auditions for small roles. She lands a few small parts at first, but it's just the beginning. Before long, she's starring in major Hollywood films.
I stood there right by Diamond's side, cheering her on every step of the way. I was her biggest fan and best friend.
One night, Diamond is nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress. I'm so proud of her. I know how hard she's worked, and she deserves it.
On the night of the awards ceremony, Diamond and I walk the red carpet together. She looks like a million bucks in her stunning evening gown. We're both so excited. When Diamond's name is announced as the winner, we jump up and down with joy.
I'm so happy for her. She's finally achieved her dream. Diamond takes the stage to accept her award. She looks out at the audience and sees you smiling at her. She gives me a wink. In her acceptance speech.
Diamond thanks everyone who has helped her along the way, including me. She says that she wouldn't be where she is without my love and support.
I'm so touched. I know that I'm one lucky man. After the awards ceremony, Diamond and I celebrate her victory with a romantic dinner at her favorite restaurant.
"I'm so grateful for you, honey," she says.
"You're the best husband a woman could ask for."
"I love you, sweetheart," You know that I always have your back. We raise our glasses in a toast. "To Diamond, the famous actress."
