3 months ago mom told us we were going to spend our summer in the wood in her grandpa's old cabin. At the time I was excited to stay in the woods I loved exploring places like that, but now I know this is an apology trip for the separation. I smile and continue walking trying to find a room for me to sleep in, I see a door and I open it. It reveals a staircase leading to a dark void above. I try the light switch but it doesn't work. There on one side of the room was a loft built into the bookshelves that surrounded the room. I smile, this is definitely where I'm sleeping for the rest of the summer. I climb up the small ladder and faceplant onto the bed. I quickly feel sleep overcome me and I fall into a dreamless sleep.
