Strange boy and I started to make our way down the street to my school. There were a million things running through my mind. There were so many questions I wanted to ask of him like, where are you from, what's your name, why do you have a thunderbolt tattoo on your arm and so on, but I know that he wouldn't be able to answer half of them since he has amnesia. I sighed as I shoved my hands into my pockets and looked towards the ground when I felt the strange boy bump into me. I stopped walking and turned to him. He looked up at me then quickly looked away.
"Sorry..."
I watched his movements and the expressions on his face. He seems awfully nervous about something and I have no idea why. I opened up my mouth to ask him why he's so nervous but no words came out. Instead, I closed my mouth shut and continued to watch him.
"Hey," I said.
The boy looked at me.
"Until you can remember your name, I think I should give you one. I don't want to call you 'boy' or...something like that." I explained.
He nodded.
"Alright. Let's see..." I looked around me, trying to wrack my brain for a good name. Then, it hit me. This name i'm going to give him isn't anything of significance but it sorta suits him. I looked back at him and smiled.
"Daisuke." I spoke.
The boy looked up when he heard the name. Almost like he was responding to his name.
"Well? What do you think?" I asked for his opinion.
He smiled at me and nodded. "I like it."
I breathed a sigh of relief and smiled. "Good. Now that we've got that out of the way, let's go." I said then turned and started to walk again.

When we reached my school's building, I stopped walking and turned to Daisuke.
"This is where we part. I'll see you after class." I said then turned and started to walk away from him.
"Kanijo!" Daisuke shouted then he ran up and wrapped his arms around my waist and placed his head on my back. One of the things about being a loner is that I don't do well with psychical touch. I don't mind if someone grabbed my wrist or placed their hand on my shoulder but when someone hugs me or anything like that, I get a bit comfortable.
I stood there, not moving. I took a deep breath to calm myself then I grabbed onto Daisuke's arms and gently but slowly pulled his arms from around me. Once I made sure he wasn't touching me, I turned to face him and right there, my face dropped. The expression on his face was full of sadness and worry. I seriously don't know what's up with this guy.
"Daisuke..."
"K-kanijo...please...Can I come with you?" He begged.
I rubbed the back of my neck and looked away. "I don't know..." I muttered softly.
"Please, Kanijo!" Daisuke quickly grabbed my left hand and held it in his hands.
I glanced down at our hands then I slowly looked at Daisuke.
"Why don't you want to be alone? Why do I have to be with you?" I asked.
Daisuke bit down on his bottom lip and his eyes started to grow watery. Then, he wrapped his arms around my waist again and pressed his head against my chest. I...I seriously can't deal with all this touching but...it seems like there's something bothering Daisuke so I know I have to be gentle even if I don't want to.
I slowly raised my right hand to Daisuke's back and gently patted it.
"There....there...Um....I guess I can see if my teacher will allow..."
I was cut off when Daisuke pulled away from me and smiled brightly.
"Thank you, Kanijo!"
I nervously smiled and nodded. Obviously, this isn't going to be as easy as I thought.

We finally reached my class. I slid open the door and looked around the room to see my entire class already sitting at their desks and my teacher standing at the front of the room.
"Kanijo, there you are. Come sit. I was about to start my lesson." My teacher spoke.
Though, I didn't hurry to my seat like I would've. I was a bit nervous about bringing Daisuke into my class so I practically just stood there.
"Kanijo? Go to your seat."
I sighed. "Um...I sorta have a visitor."
My teacher raised her eyebrows. "What kind of visitor?"
I licked my dry lips. "I kinda have someone staying with me right now and...he can't be alone." I know with the way I said it, I made it seem like I have a five year old nephew staying with me but this isn't just some five year old nephew. This is a sixteen year old looking teenage boy that I know nothing about.
My teacher looked like she was giving it some thought then sighed and nodded. "Bring him in."
I nodded and started to walk into the classroom. My classmates looked towards the floor like they were expecting some five year old to pop up right behind me but once Daisuke walked into the room right behind me, they all looked surprised, even my teacher.
I glanced over at Daisuke to see his reaction but he didn't seem bothered by it which gave me relief. I walked over to my seat by the window and sat down. Daisuke sat in the empty seat in front of me.
"Okay...now if I can get back to my lesson..."
Throughout the class, I was trying to take notes of my teacher's lecture but I couldn't really focus. Not with Daisuke sleeping in front of me. He had his arms and head on my desk and his body was facing sideways. He looked pretty peaceful as he slept. I sighed with a small smile on my face then looked out the window. By the time class will be over, it'll be close to dinner time.
