Val clutched his iron spear, and held his golden crafted shield like a true champion, and with no second thoughts of worries he charged at full speed. The ground rumbled everytime he took a step and the fans rocked bakc and forth. The beast ran in all four like a gorilla at shooting star speed, he had no weapon or shield, just the weapons he was born with.
Val clutched his spear over his head and held his shield in front of his face and chest. And with all the muscle his arm had, he swung his spear upon the beast. But to his suprise all he hit was air, he looked to the left and right but there was no beast to be found, he was about to look behind him but something sharp seeped into his right lower back. The electricity of pain shocked Val, the sound of the sharp object crippling Val's bones echoes throughout the arena, the pain forced Val To bend over and see who had stabbed him. Val's pupals trembled when he saw that the beast had bitten him, nobody had ever done something like that or thought about it, it was too cowardly. The escaping waters of blood were squirted out of Val. Val's feet stepped in his own pool of blood, though he was horrified it did feel warm. The beasts tongue lapped the blood that was gushing out like a vampire, and his taste buds were dancing around the liquid of life he consumed. "Aaaaaaaaaaaah," screamed Val in pain. Silence fell upon the people, no soul dared to say a word as they watched a feral child drinking an undefeated champion's blood, babies stopped crying and fans stopped cheering, just dead silence.
"What am I doing, will I just let this oaf defeat me so measly, no I have to do something!" Thought Val. Val swung his spear over his head again, and with the strength of a thousand ogres, he swung his spear with all the strength he could gather up. But again the child vanished so fast like a shadow, Val couldn't believe his eyes. "I-I looked straight at him, never once did I blink, nor did I look away not even by a second. Where did he go?" Thought Val.
Val looked to his left and right, he looked behind him while he swung his spear violently. But nobody was there, when he turned back around he felt a massive claw slash him across his left eye and lost balance and fell to the ground roughly. Pain never hit when he looked up at the boy, he saw an eye stuck on his right middle finger. "Where did he get that eye," thought Val. Val wondered until he felt blood trickle down his face and down to the ground, when he reached to clean it. He felt a hole.
He felt a hole with blood inside, he didn't know what this was until he looked up at that eye. His hands started shaking like a leaf, his chin trembled like an earthquake, and his gut clenched tightly. "Aaaaaaaaaaaah," screamed Val. Both hands covered his eye socket, and got up to run from that monster. The beast grinned at the sight of his opponent running from him, his head swung at the direction of the eye he had in his hand, a puddle of blood surrounded it. Dark red veins swarmed around the eye like snakes around a tree. His hand closed sharply, crushing the eyeball into mush, and slammed it in his mouth roughly, he chewed the eye violently, he chewed with his mouth opened so the people could see the champion's eye being crushed.
"Finally, I can smell the aroma of fear, I can hear his symphony of screams, he is afraid. I'm done toying and playing, I'm hungry," said the child.
And at monstrous speed he ran on all fours, like a cheetah he was closing in quickly and like a tiger he leaped off the ground and latched onto the shoulders of Val. His claws dug into Val's chest, causing blood to leak out like an old pipe, but he was not aiming to hurt, he was aiming to kill. He opened his jaws, showing his dagger like teeth's glory to the world, but in a split second they slammed them into Val's neck.
The child felt all of Val's neck bones being crippled in a musical tone to him, and he delightedly tasted the gushing blood of Val again. The second his teeth tore down Val's flesh and bones, Val fell on the ground violently, no movement was made, rivers of blood covered Val's entire neck, and made a puddle on the ground. Breathing stopped and his heart powered down, But when a champion dies, a monster is there to eat the corpse.
