Park Jimin.
"It's not a request but an order, Jimin. Now get up and go."
For the third time already, I was being shoved out of my bed. The bed sheets that was propped on my body, now being thrown on the floor. I couldn't help but groan out of annoyance.
I slowly sat up, gazing over at my dad as he makes his way towards the black velvety curtains blocking the glass window of my room. He opened the curtains widely.
"Dad, it's too early," I complained. My voice came out a bit hoarse due to a sore throat.
"You came home late last night and you were very drunk. Now that you have a hangover, you're telling me that? Jimin, you need to be mature already. How can you handle our company with that attitude of yours?" Dad looked at me sternly as he crossed his arms over his chest, leaning over the doorframe.
I sighed exasperatedly.
Here we go again.
"Fine," I finally said. "Good," he sang, exiting my room. "Ugh, why do I need to go to her? It's not like it can change the way I feel for her," I muttered.
I entered my bathroom and lazily took off my clothes. I stepped into the shower and turned the cold tap on. Despite how cold the water was, I couldn't free myself from thinking about what would happen later.
Clearly, I do not know what she thinks of me but I am sure what I feel for her. It is not love.
Minutes later, I finished bathing. I dried myself with a towel and wore formal clothes. After brushing my teeth, I picked up some things I usually get when I go out.
I shoved my phone in my pocket and grabbed my car keys. I hurried downstairs. "Dad, I'm out!" I shouted so he could hear me from the dining room.
I immediately picked up my pace towards my car and soon drove off.
Driving to Mr. Jeon's company wasn't that long. For approximately twenty minutes, I arrived in front of the building. I parked my car in the parking lot and entered the building. With a hot cup of coffee - that I bought when I'm on my way here - and my phone in my other hand, I made my way on the elevator.
I pressed the open button, careful not to mess up with the coffee in my hand. When the elevator door opened, I walked in. After pressing the close button and the floor where her office would be, I sipped my coffee and waited.
Soon, the elevator opened and I got out.
The place was cold but I was sweating, I don't even know why. "Jimin, just play it cool," I exhaled. I walked over the room where my dad told me to go, which is the CEO's office.
I shoved my phone back into my pocket. I didn't feel the need to knock on the door so I just grabbed the doorknob and opened the door slowly. Opening it wide enough, I let myself enter the room.
As soon as I closed the door, my gaze landed on Jihye. Was she talking with...another guy?
They stopped talking and gawked at me. I could see how her expression quickly changed when she locked gazes with me. I averted my gaze from her and looked at the man sitting beside her.
I do not know what I feel but there is one thing I am sure about, I don't like him.
