“Welcome to the Slytherin house.” The Slytherin prefect welcomed me as we walked to the dungeons. “Breakfast starts at 6 am while classes start at 8 am. Curfew is at 10 pm unless you have permission from me or a professor to be out of the common room.” I nod as we continue to walk.
We make it to the common room, the prefect says the password, which is Salazar, and we enter.
“Any questions?”
“Um, yeah. Will there be any trips to that village by the school?”
“Yes, there will, since you are older you do not need a signed form but it's one weekend out of every month. Anything else?”
“Yeah, are there any sports teams here? Like quidditch?”
“Yes, I can get you a meeting with the Captain for tryouts.” I nod in thanks. “Girls dorms are on the right and yours should be up the stairs. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.” I thank him and head to my dorm.
I walk to where it says my name and notice I will have a room alone. I take a quick shower and get into my silk nightgown. I lay down and fall asleep.
-In the dream-
I wake up in the middle of the night hearing a loud scream coming from my parent's room.
“Give her to me and all will be fine. You will live.” I hear an unfamiliar voice say
“Mom? Dad?” I ask from their doorway.
“Darling! Go back to your room!” I nod quickly and run to my room. When I get there I am met with my Godfather.
“Come here Viv, let's get you out of here.” I run to him and grab a bag of clothes.
“Ahh. If it isn't Albus. Where I must ask, are you talking my dear Viven?”
“That’s for me to know and for you to never find out Voldemort,” Albus says while grabbing me and apperating.
-end of the dream-
I wake up, panting hard. I look around me to see I am in my dorm. I sigh and get up, wrapping my night robes around me and leaving the room, along with the common room. I make my way through the dark corridors of the dungeons. I hear footsteps and I quickly turn.
“What are you doing up Ms. Moonblood?” I hear a velvety voice ask, Severus Snape.
“If you must know sir, I am heading to my Godfather's office,” I say looking up at him as he swiftly glides over.
“Allow me to take you there Ms. Moonblood.” I nod and turn back around, making my way up the stairs.
As we make our way down the hallways, I feel Severus behind me as we walk, as if a guard of the royal family. When we make it to Albus’s office, Snape knocks and the doors swing open.
“What would you like at this time of night Severus..” My Godfather starts. “Oh darling, what are you doing here Viv?” He finishes.
“I had another dream... About that night... He was looking for me... He wants me.” I say with a shaky voice, not caring that Severus is still there.
Albus looks at me with a flash of concern in his eyes and stands up to make his way over to me. He engulfs me into a hug and whispers it's okay into my Brown hair. As I hug him, I start to cry and shake in his arms. My Godfather whispers something to Severus and walks away from me.
“Come along Ms. Moonblood,” Snape says as he slides an arm around my shoulders and takes me out of the office.
“Where are we going?” I ask as he pulls me away.
“We are going to my classroom. Your Godfather wants me to give you a sleeping draught.” I nod and lean my head on him as we walk to the dungeons. He stiffens a little as we make it to his classroom. “Drink this then I will take you back to your dorm.”
I drink it and give him the empty potion bottle. We walk back to the Slytherin common room and make our way to my dorm. He helps me take off my night robes and tells me to lay down. When I do, he pulls my blanket up and turns to leave.
“Wait!” He turns to me, raising an eyebrow. “Please stay..” He looks at me hesitantly, then walks over and summons a chair.
“Just until you fall asleep.” I nod and close my eyes. I hear him start to hum and I smile a little. Once he thinks I am asleep, he grabs my hand. feel a slight pinch and then it goes away. Severus takes his hand away and stands up.
He says, “Good night Viven.” Then walks away.
