Noises fill the empty space,

Can you feel the clockwork ticking?

Shall it lull you to a deep sleep,

With its soft lullabyes?

Hear the clocks,

As minutes passing by,

Hours slip away,

And your sleep is awoken.

You lay in a heap,

The tik-tok still going,

The clock strikes one,

And you get to work.

Your brain is crowded with noises,

Tik-tok-tik-tok the clock turns five,

Your cap lay still on the table,

Waiting, still untouched.

Can you hear the clockwork ticking?

Will the chimes lull you to sleep?

May you lay there, ever so peacefully,

Until you find your way to sleep.
