And I told him I'd miss him in the clouds & the rain,

In the wind whistling through the trees,

In the quietness of the starry moonlit night.

I told him that when the sky cries for him

I, too, will cry.

I told him when the sun kisses my cheeks,

I will feel only his lips on me instead.

I told him when the birds sing to me their sweet melody,

I will hear only his song.
