“H-He’s not responding, he’s been like this since we got here… Though I can guarantee he’s alive. He glared at me for a moment.” Vince called out from the other cell next to them, inside he was looking at Stingray who wasn’t speaking or moving in any regard. He was seated and not speaking much at all-
“STINGRAY.” Not moving an inch.
“STINGRAY.” Nothing breaking his calm or his concentration.
“STINGRAY.” Nothing except for Meatless.
“Yes Meatless, what do you want?” He asked, speaking again for the first time in what felt like ages.
“WHAT ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT?”
“The sounds of the town. Don’t you two hear it as well?” Meatless and Ashley both got quiet and they heard the sounds of drums, a thumping that got the two of them smiling for a moment before their smiles faded.

“Soon. We can’t jeopardize Vivian’s growth in favor of our own antics, the best we can do is just wait till we’re let out, which doesn’t seem to be happening anytime soon.” Stingray says and with a groan everybody sits down and lets time run past them, a choice they unfortunately did not have.
Elsewhere Mina, Vivian, Alexander, and Thomas were riding up an elevator, looking out at the large city before them.
“Yo! This view is sick!!” Alexander laughed, pressing his hands against the window looking out. Unlike the rest of his family, Alex had very little fear. Vivian on the other hand looked out the window for a second and looked away.
“There’s no better view, being a Artifact holder is a high respect but being a Wielder is much MUCH more important. Such is the reason they see over the entire city. You should be praising your sister Alexander, she’s being given a great privilege and an even greater chance.” Thomas says with a smile looking down at the city.
“Aight uuuh. What’s the chance dude?? Or well, privilege??” Alexander asks and Thomas simply replies.

“Yes Alex, big door. Thomas, we need to speak to them.” Walking towards the door Mina suddenly yanked the children away as Thomas made a barrier between them and the door.
“Your Metallico is quick on the draw, you can’t bother the Wielders unannounced. I know you may have very important reasons but they-”
“Important reasons ain’t just it, we’re literally on the path to saving the world ya know.” Alex adds.
“And you believe they aren’t? Trust me, the Wielders are working much harder than anyone else to defend the world itself. It all comes down to you needing to trust them. “Now let’s go, I’ll show you to your living space and once you get all settled in we’ll get you ready for the training.” Upon entering the room Alexander rushed in and began to examine the room with a smile, grabbing, checking, and touching anything and everything in the room.
“Awesome!! This is some first class stuff.” Alexander would look around the room with excitement while Vivian just walked to the balcony looking out in the distance.
“I’ll leave you alone, no need to bother you all any further. If you need me your metallico will probably be able to do whatever you need her too.” Thomas bows his head looking over at the door before he steps out and walks off. Vivian, Alexander, and Mina all sit down and wait for a few minutes, then Alex looks to his Sister and she looks to him.

“I know but my directive says you two need to stay here, though you aren’t safe you’re better here in the moment than you’d ever be outside. Here Ms. Vivian can learn to hone her powers, she can learn to be stronger.” Mina says, looking at her.

“I do believe we should stay, if we just learn a bit from them and then we can gain them as allies. The objective becomes easier, it is within nature to look out for oddities everywhere one goes.
