Coke was often ignored by his parents and began sneaking out of his apartment at age eight. By the time he was twelve, he'd been in three different gangs and had stolen thousands of dollars worth of jewels from local businesses.
When he turned fifteen, his parents kicked him out of their apartment, saying they "Didn't have room for him" and that he was "Always in the way". Coke was fine with this, as he'd been planning on running away, anyways. He holed up with the gang he was a part of at the time, a gang known as the "Mott Haven Murderers".
In the next two years, he killed nine people, stole a dozen different firearms, and was sent to jail twice. He was eventually released due to lack of evidence. The smoke/flame tattoo was the official symbol for the Mott Haven gang.
A week after he turned seventeen, he and six other gang members were cornered in an alleyway by a rival gang. The six Mott Haven members were shot and killed, while Coke managed to take down three of the opposing team. He was shot in the arm, and when engaged in hand-to-hand combat with the gang leader, he was sliced across the face. He managed to get away, and ran to the Mott Haven headquarters, where he alerted the gang leader to their devastating loss. The gang was sent underground, and Coke, now hunted by the rival gang, was given strict security and lodging in the underground gang facilities. From then till the present, he was involved in planning robberies and murders, but, for safety, was unable to take part in the crimes. Now, the rival gang has been dealt with, and he's preparing to return to the streets as the leader of the Mott Haven Murderers.
