Well, the day started well and good for Bella. It all goes well but her conscience that she keeps burying at corner most of her head since last night keeps saying that she should apologize to Luke. But still, her morning was good enough because of the message exchange with Logan last night.
The bell rung and after four mind-wracking subjects ended, the lunch break began. She finally gave into her conscience and went to Luke’s classroom.
When she got there, there’s no sign of Luke, thus she began to worry. She scanned with her eyes all of the students inside and there’s no student she knows. Then she saw David, Luke’s best friend who’s already sitting and eating his lunch by the veranda in front of their classroom. So she went near him and crouched down.
“Hello David, have you seen Luke? Where did he go? I didn’t see him in your classroom.”
“Well big sis, you didn’t know? Luke’s absent today. When we called him, he said that he have stomachache and headache. And from the tone of his voice, he really looks like in physical pain so I think he’s not faking it to skip school. I thought you already know that since you came to school by yourself… so I didn’t bother to tell you.” David replied.
Though I really know what my idiot of an elder brother did though… David thought.
So that’s why he didn’t come by our house this morning… She thought.
After pondering at possible reasons of his sickness, it made it a lot worse for her, since it may be her fault why Luke is sick right now.
“Um… David did you ask him why does he have stomach and headache?” Bella asked.
“He didn’t say.” David said while munching his lunch while looking up at her.
Did he sleep last night? Did he eat? Or did he slipped down and hurt his head on the floor? There are so many possibilities of an accident, what could have happened? She began to worry.
“Big Sis!” David called her, brought her back to reality.
He can’t control her thoughts… just like that person said. He said to himself.
“Hu-Huh?”
“You’re spacing out for more like ten seconds” David replied.
“Oh… Sorry I made you worry about me. I’m okay… I’m just thinking about something. Thank you for informing me about Luke. I’ll visit him later after my practice.”
“Ok” David said with smiling slightly.

Walking back to her classroom, she passed by bunch of white painted lockers. She decided to get her things for the last three subjects of their class. To her surprise, Mary was waiting there in front of her locker.
“What are you doing here?” Bella asked, feeling weird about Mary waiting her there.
“I was searching for you. I got lazy walking around so I decided to risk waiting here without even knowing if you already got your things for the next subjects of our class. Since this is part of your daily routine….” Mary said with crossed arms and a bored face as she went near her locker.
“So… what’s the matter? You must have something to say.” Bella said as she crouched down and unlocked her locker and began searching her things.
Suddenly Mary was nervous about telling her about certain something.
Shit! I don’t know if I’m gonna regret this or not… She thought to herself.
“Okay… so here it is. For the three years we’ve been studying as junior high students here in White Cross Academy, finally. The Prima Donna is coming to school.”
“So… what? I mean do I have to care about news like that, Mary? We’re not boys.” Bella asked with a hint of sarcasm. For her, that kind of news is ridiculous.
Of course you should care! This news is ridiculously nonsense for you because you can’t remember any single fucking thing! If only you can remember everything, Please be thankful for once that I’m your childhood friend or else I wouldn’t have protected you up until now… Mary said to herself frustratingly.
“Seriously? You don’t really care to know her?”
“Mary” Bella said then looked up at Mary at her right side. ”Would I ask about something I clearly know?” she sarcastically asked.
“Okay, so this girl I’m talking about is the one and only beautiful, feminine, talented, intelligent daughter of the owner of this White Cross Academy. The Miss Popular head over heels of almost all the boys here at this school.”
“Oh, so she’s like Miss Perfect… what’s her name then?” Bella asked.
Perfect your face Bella…. out of all your cousins, she’s the one I hate the most. Mary thought to herself.
“Her name is Maureene Therese Asztalos…” Mary carefully tried to say.
I hope she wouldn’t notice that one…. Mary’s worried thought.
Locking her locker, Bella made a frown in her face “Asztalos? Isn’t her last name the same with my middle name?”
Mary began to feel nervous as she blurted out hurriedly,
“Ok Bella if you don’t know the answer to that, don’t bother. You’ll only make your head ache, right? Besides you don’t know if your middle name is one of the common ones” Mary said in a hurry to divert their conversation into another topic.
“Well, yeah maybe you got a point; maybe it’s a common name. And there’s nothing to be surprised of, is there? It’s obvious that her parents would make her study here, it’s their property after all.” Bella said.
A thought crossed Mary’s mind, she didn’t dare to conjure a thought in her head about that particular topic, and it’ll only make her even sadder for Bella. She just turned at her left side and avoided her gaze.
“Hey, what’s wrong?” Bella asked as she stood up.
“Nothing” Mary smiled at her to give her some relief, which indeed worked.
The left together and the bell rang on the right time. Both walked and they have to hastily go to their classroom since it’s near their lockers.

Right after class, they immediately change their uniform into gym clothes for practice. When the two went to the covered court, everyone still seems to be preparing. Up until this moment, Bella’s still curious when that Maureene-girl will show up in school.
It was cool and windy afternoon with a beautiful sunset… The same view of the afternoon she had discovered Logan playing violin under a pine tree at the golf field.
Ah…. It’s the same view three years ago… Bella thought and smiled as she looked at the overlooking part of the covered court. To make the scenery more dramatic, she put on her earphones and played music.
But it seems the Destiny is playing with her. While she’s staring in the sunset, Logan appeared in her field of sight. Logan is also feeling the wind breeze brushing his hair and uniform.
I’m so sorry about what happened yesterday afternoon, I really mean it. I know I acted like a fool… like an immature kid…How can I make it up to you? She thought, and it crossed her mind.
I still love you Logan…
President Jeremy, who’s now drinking pineapple juice, accidentally spit it out like a fountain from his mouth. Mary choked on the sponge cake she’s eating and Logan suddenly looked at her.
Bella met his eyes; she thought he’s looking at someone behind her back so she looked. Everyone is making fuss about Mary who’s coughing like there’s no tomorrow.
“Mary!” she shouted and immediately removed her earphones while running towards her. President Jeremy is also caressing her back, telling her to calm down.
“What happened to you?” Bella asked with worried eyes. When Mary looked up to her, Logan is already behind her.
Mary and Jeremy just looked at Logan behind Bella when Jeremy all of a sudden, he darted a shocked look at Mary with a frown clearly written in his face.
Mary returns the gesture at Jeremy, like there’s something going on between them. Mary is finally calming down when the gym door bursts open and catches everyone’s attention.
“Oh, Hello!” A beautiful slim-bodied girl with a big bright smile waved to them.
That girl’s name is Maureene Therese Asztalos. And there she is! Doing cute gestures like forming a ‘peace’ sign in her hand and uses it to wave to people.
Every guy in the room, along with the girls- was in awe to see the beautiful girl.
“Wow she’s so beautiful...”
“She’s like a princess...”
“She’s like a doll...”
“Is she asian?”
“Maybe she’s half -Korean and half -Japanese”
“Wow, she’s so tall and slim”
When the girl looked around, she her face lit up, as if she someone she knows already and smiled.
“Hello Logan, you’re here. Mary and Jeremy too! It’s really nice to see you guys here!” she said as she’s walking towards them.

Okay so this is the scenario,
Number One:
Jeremy is pissed off to see her, so he looked down at his right side.
Like heck she’s not even beautiful... he thought.
Number Two:
Mary is staring fiercely to Maureene, like in any moment, she wants to fight her.
Number Three:
Logan did not make any eye contact with her. He doesn’t seem to care and just looked somewhere.
Number Four:
Bella was surprised. Her eyes glowed with awe as she saw Maureene.
I didn’t know she’s that much beautiful... let alone...—wait, she... LOOKS LIKE ME! Only her hair colour and hair length changed! My hair is short and hers is long! My hair is blonde and hers is brown!
Maureene stopped in front them, maintaining a sweet smile on her face.
“Plastic smile, ALERT!” Jeremy said as he walked away. Not even giving a chance for Maureene to talk to him.
“Bella, c’mon let’s go out and buy some fries, cheese sticks and milk tea.” Mary stood up and yanked Bella to go out with her.
Even while walking away, Bella looked back at her and saw her smirk while her arms crossed and right eyebrow rose. To her surprise, Mary stopped at her tracks and looked back to where Maureene is standing and glared at her. After that, Mary’s hand grip tightened around her left wrist and walked faster than she already is which definitely made Bella frown. What the hell is happening here? She thought while Mary hurriedly drags her outside.
Then awkward silence filled the gym. Finally, Logan made an eye contact with her. Then he looked at the Drama Club members and officials and asked.
“Everyone, can we wrap this early and leave?”
Everyone seems to be slow at processing what Logan just said. After 5-second awkward silence, the Drama Club Secretary speak up:
“B-But we didn’t even start anything... We should practice..... We don’t have much time until the Annual Academy festival....”
“Ms. Secretary, why whine on something like that? I remember that every club member’s requirement to be a Drama Club member is that they should pass the audition in acting right?” Logan asked.
“Y-Yes...” the secretary replied.
“Then acting shouldn’t be a problem isn’t it? Everyone’s good at acting. Me, Mary, Jeremy and Bella are good at acting. The props are easy to create if there’s teamwork. And in times, there should be a resting time for all of us. Maybe the first thing you should do for now, is to lose some tension and relax. Don’t you agree Ms. Secretary?” Logan asked.
“O-Okay.....” the Secretary replied, almost whispering so femininely.
After that, all of the members pick up all the materials for props making and got out of the gymnasium. It took a while since they said goodbyes to him too. When they finally got out, Logan ordered them to close the door.
“What about you two, Mr. Walter?” the Drama Club Secretary asked before closing the door.
“It’s okay.” Logan replied.
Then, when the door closed, Both turned their gaze to each other.
Why are you here? Logan asked. Using telepathy.
Nothing... I just want to study here...she replied smiled mockingly.
