Days have past by, and the mysterious woman that had spoken to Oscuro, has not spoken to him since. Oscuro sat with his companion from when he was just a small baby among hordes of beasts. They called him Cuernos. Meaning horns. His rage was like the jagged points on a bull's horns when it tackles. Or like the horns on the dragon when it cuts wind as it flies by. 713Please respect copyright.PENANAevNUNQSm33
Cuernos had a head that was painted in gray. But was covered with white as clouds fur. His eyes were the color of the sun's hot skin, and his teeth were the color of the moon's perfectly temperatured skin.713Please respect copyright.PENANAndxRa78Mau
"So what are we doing here," said Cuernos.
Oscuro slowly turned his head to face Cuernos. His pale eyes stabbed deep into his yellow eyes. No words were uttered, but a great symphony howled through their gazes with that staring contest. "We're waiting."713Please respect copyright.PENANAq3kgVYNCW2
"Waiting? For what." Cuernos's paws like feet rested on a root that surpassed the surface. And his hands laid on the hard ground. Oscuro was about to answer his question, but the answer had already stood in front of them. Its yellow tusks held cold stains of red, and it's green skin glistened in the brown and dull surroundings. Its fingers tied themselves on the handle of a massive axe. With blades sharper than the clever man's mind. 713Please respect copyright.PENANAmFhFmjTgAO
"My own brother's blood; spilled everywhere on the floor," said the Ogre. "How could you."
"Every fight in Abigail's forest is to the death," said Oscuro. "You ogres; are not above the law of the forest."713Please respect copyright.PENANAzuToo25BLd
The Ogre gripped his axe tighter than a fifty foot long boa constrictor, and Oscuro could hear the Ogre's heart bumping with boiling rage. And right then, as fast as the eye could see, the ogre swung his mighty axe towards Oscuro as quick as a buzzing fly. The axe left a massive mark in the tree where Oscuro used to be sitting. The sound of steel and wood colliding yelled in repeat through the crowds of trees and bushed. 713Please respect copyright.PENANAmzAsnZ6n8M
Oscuro, just centimeters away from the mark the axe made. His gaze was shooting towards the Ogre's eyes. And as quick as a trained ninja, he sprinted towards the ogre with an open mouth and showing teeth. Before the Ogre knew what was happening, Oscuro had clamped down into his ribs. Oscuro could taste the flowing blood, and could hear the crackling of the ribs as he bit down harder.
The Ogre fell to his knees and screamed a howl as loud as a thousand war horns going off in the battlefield. But still the ogre lifted his arm above his head, and drove it down to the back of Oscuro as hard as falling meteor. Immediately after, Oscuro's bite force came into a dead stop. He slowly crumbled to the ground stomach first.
The ogre stood up to his feet, and had his axe aimed for Oscuro. But something hit him. Its force was as vast as his, but this thing was smaller, and had pale fur. Cuernos stood face to face with the angered Ogre. His goosebumps traveled up and down his spine like a small monkey, but he was ready for the gore that laid ahead.
Cuernos's mind I've always admired Oscuro's pride and bravery. Even when we was little kids, fighin in a place so brutal, so savage. But he still kept his head up against any foe, any beast, and any living thing. Whether it was a cocky leprechaun, or a territorial upright lion. But sometimes I felt sorry for his fightin nature. Because since the time my mind could remember. This place taught me a hard lesson that the bravest are doomed to the same fate. They die young, and they die cryin. Oh how I hate to see a mighty warrior laying dead. Or hearing they bones breaking and crackling. 713Please respect copyright.PENANAqbq055k9WO
Whoever Abigail is, I hope she died young, and I hope she died cryin. Because her repeating lessons are killing my people. 713Please respect copyright.PENANA41EDwF5DoZ
