For years now, the boy's feet walked on the rough soil of the forest floor. His white pupils glistened in the darkest of nights like an evil cat. His teeth were as sharp as the swords forged in his father's homeland. But still, he had that twinkle on the side of his pupil. He had kept that twinkle wherever he went all these years. Whether it a brutal fight against a beast who was born and raised in these dark woods, or on cold nights when his stomach howled for food. 774Please respect copyright.PENANAcbNpyYOqqk
But this forest made him hide his twinkle, because the forest wasn't like the eat or be eaten code. It was the biggest and baddest were the unlucky ones. Beast as big as giant boulders walked openly within these trees, just waiting for a fight with a monster like him.
The boy held scars from claws and fangs from animals who faced him eye to eye. His old brown saggy pants hid his legs, who held a city of scars. The beast in these woods nicknamed him, "Oscuro."
Though he has had times when he ran for his own skin, as his foe stalked him not quite far behind. There was times when his opponent stood motionless on the ground, and Oscuro stood high and mighty on both his feet. He earned his name. Oscuro is not a random name he was given. It holds the bag of meaning in its pockets. It is a dark name. But its such a simple name, but yet so dark. And it labels Oscuro like a perfect portrait.
In Oscuro's mind. They call this woods, "Abigail's forest." The name seems so unfitting to me, the name; so fragile, so weak. Like my pinky finger.
Like the city, these beasts all know eachother, they all want to be known as a savage. See unlike human life, every beast strives for one thing, to be the baddest savage in the trees.774Please respect copyright.PENANATLTyTXn0kU
I have gotten scars from fang and claw. I have seen my blood. A boiling dark red liquid. It burns my skin, it leaves dark smoke rising from my own flesh like the smoke you see rising from volcanos.
Within these woods lives a community built on horrible violence. Guess is why I see no soft flesh of humans strolling by in the corner of my eye. I can almost imagine them small pair of lungs, gasping for breath if they took a foot in my home. And it's funny; how men stroll by their pavement buildings, thinking no body can knock him down. Them species need to harden their skin, and sharpen them swords they twiddle a ballet with. Because one day, they're curiosity will drive them to walk carelessly in my yard.
Oscuro stood in the deepest and darkest parts of the vast forest. And walking even further down brings you to a tribe of human like creatures. They hold the same blue eyes, the same soft as silk hair, but their skin is like the shell of a mighty tortoise. The force they hold behind the swing of their punch, the ram of their leg, is as powerful as Zues's stare. It is the humans no beast knew about, even though they were just short miles apart.
Oscuro sat bellow a tall and thick tree. The leaves the branches held were as sharp and as swift when they fell as the spears of apes in these woods. But as Oscuro sat under that tree, he heard a strange voice, its sound was like the scene of slowly dripping nectar from a young and healthy tree. "Mi Hijo," the voice said.
Oscuro quickly jumped to his feet. He looked to his left and to his right, to his up and down. But nobody was there to say those words. "That voice, so innocent, but yet so depressed," thought Oscuro. "So silent, but yet so powerful. I must be losing my mind," thought Oscuro.
But as he sat back under the tree, in the corner of his eye, he saw something. It was a woman, her hair hanged bellow her waist, and wore a stainless white dress. But just as she appeared, she dissappear when Oscuro whipped his head around to see her.
