Hi again! You all must like this tutorial, huh? Well, I'm glad it helps, and today I'll be talking about joining societies!

Remember this good old picture?

From here, you can see all the societies you're (or in this case, I,) am in! Below this, there is a list of recommended societies. Let's take a look at those, shall we?851Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡ1302qb9748

From here, I'll choose a society to look at. "Regular Writers Unite!" for instance, looks like something I'd like to join. I click on it, and it will take me to the intro page to that society. From there, there is a button below the description on the right to join the society. Now, not every society is set up like this, this is just because this is a public society. There are three different kinds of societies. There are public societies, open societies, and closed societies. I'll copy-and-paste parts of the descriptions below:

Public

-Anyone can see the discussions in the society. Only members can leave replies and start new threads.

-Admin Approval is NOT required to join the society.

-Societies will be shown in "Recommended Societies".

Open

-Societies will be shown in "Recommended Societies".

Closed

-Societies will be NOT shown in "Recommended Societies".

Societies are a fun and simple way to get to know people of like minds on Penana, and I strongly recommend you join at least one, if not more! And if you don't find one you like, you can always make one! Simple as that!

Penana is designed for people to come together and share their love of writing. It's less fun if you just keep to yourself. Come out of your shell! Get to know people! I guarantee, there's someone out there on your wavelength, and someone out there to talk to. All you need to do is find them. Keep writing, everyone!
