Jason Voorhees was in the dark woods.
The shelter didn't give him warmth.
He headed towards the house of Alice Louise Hardy.
She had murdered his mother, Pamela Sue Voorhees. The pain, and loss, of losing her caused him to burn with rage. Then he heard the sounds of footsteps of a eight year old girl in the pools of water.
'Itsy bitsy spider climbed up the water spout; down came the rain and washed poor itsy out', she sang.
'Margaret! It's six o'clock. Time for dinner'.
'Okay, Mom'.
Margaret opened the back door, and closed it.
Jason Voorhees headed to the house next door.

Alice Louise Hardy awoke.
She was sure that the horror was over.
She wore a green sweater, blue jeans, a black belt, red socks, and grey shoes on her feet. The art work was on the table; the cat was outside. She heard the sound of the telephone ringing.
'Hello, Mom'.
'It's about time, Alice. Your father is worried about you'.
'But he is in Chicago'.
'I know'.
'He doesn't give a damn about me. Since Steve died...'.
'Steve didn't believe in the death curse'.
'No. It's not fair'.
'Alice'.
'I have to deal with the nightmares, Mom'.
'Has Doctor Alberton described medication for you?', Alice's Mom asked her daughter.
'Yes', Alice answered.
'Good. I need to go honey. Good night'.
'Good night, Mom. I love you'.
'I love you, too, Alice'.
She hung up the telephone, and placed it on the cradle in the hallway. Alice heard a sound. It came from the window. She screamed, as the cat fell next to her; she sighed. It became frustrating that the terror of Camp Crystal Lake had returned to disturb her thoughts, and feelings.
She had a quick shower, and got dressed in her favorite nightgown. The telephone rang.
'Hello'.
Heavy breathing.
She frowned, and knew someone was out to attack her.
But she didn't know who it was.

Alice headed to the small kitchen.
When she made a mug of coffee, she heard the sound of footsteps. Jason Voorhees was alive.
She had opened the back door.
In the hot summer of June, everyone in the town of Crystal Lake did that. Cities like New York, and Chicago, was crime riddled. Gangs were armed with knives, and other weapons were used to enforce their power. Crystal Lake was different. The weather was colder, and caused her to shiver.
Alice waited, and in a blink of an eye, Jason Voorhees rammed an ice pick into her skull.
She fell downward, and her body was taken away from the house to the old, dilapidated shack in the wet woods. But not before Jason turned down the boiling kettle on the stove.
And left the house.
His revenge was complete.
He moved towards the new Counsellor Training Camp the next day.
