The bell rang.
Paul Holt, the long haired, blue eyed camp counsellor, sat on the steps. The other campers were waiting for him to speak; Ginny Field, the Assistant Camp Counsellor, was late.
'Good morning. As you know, the camp is back and running. It has been one year since Steve Christy re-opened Camp Crystal Lake; it has been a year that that will change those who come here. Mark, we worked together two summer's ago at Camp Tomahawk; Terry, Vickie, Scott, welcome'.
Apart from them, there was Jeff, Sandra, and Ted.
They would be coming soon.

Jeff West, eighteen, was inside the Phone Booth.
'So, you go past the Dairy Queen, past Cunningham Road, and towards the Native American totem poles that led to Camp Crystal Lake...'. Sandra Dier, his eighteen year old girlfriend, was wearing a T-shirt, blue shorts, and shoes on her feet. It was 84 degrees in the small town; it was quiet. Suddenly Crazy Ralph appeared. He wore his favorite hat on, and was dressed for summer. He got off his bicycle, and spoke ominously.
'I warned everyone. They didn't believe me. You're doomed like Alice Louise Hardy; doomed! Go. The camp has a death curse. Go!'. Jeff stared at Sandra. She thought he was insane. Crazy Ralph rode away. He went around the sharp corner, and headed to the campgrounds.
Before Jeff could do anything, a middle aged truck driver drove his 1977 van up the road.
Jeff opened the door.
'Hey, that's my van. Hey, shit head! That's my van!'.
The man rode the vehicle around the corner.
A tall, red haired prankster, Ted James, laughed.
'Welcome to God's Country. Max, you can unload the van'.
Max Anderson, the forty-seven year old mechanic, and truck driver, nodded. Ted paid him $100. He pocketed it, waved at the teenagers, and went to work in town. 'You idiot!', Jeff smirked. The teenagers headed towards the van. Jeff drove up the road. Suddenly they stopped.255Please respect copyright.PENANAZtZ5B2umu3
On the road was a large brown log.
Jeff stared at it.
'Me got to move it', Ted said.
As they did so, Sandra explored the woods.
In the deep ditch was a battered sign with the words: CAMP CRYSTAL LAKE. 'Hey, look at what I found?', she asked them.
'Camp Blood', Ted answered.
'Camp Blood', Jeff shivered.
'The girl escaped from the camp last year. She was killed in her house. That was what I heard', Ted explained.
'Killed'.
'By Jason Voorhees, the son of Pamela Sue Voorhees'.
'I see', Jeff said.
'Look, let's go before we're late', Sandra said.
As they headed back to the van, Jeff drove to the Counsellor Training Camp. In the deep woods, Jason Voorhees watched them with anger.
