I opened the box and was amazed at what I saw.
I saw a frock and a letter. I opened the letter first and was so shocked.
I got a letter from Spencer, my crush , about whom I never told anyone except my best friend Andie.

" Dear Samantha,
I know this feels awkward, since we have never had any conversation. But I wanted to tell you something and it can't be said in this letter. Please, this is really really important. Can we meet at the park near our school tomorrow evening, after school ? And I would love to see you in the dress I got you.

OMG! I was freaking out! I had a crush on him since we were in third grade and I have never even talked to him, not that I am shy. Trust me , I am the bold girl in the gang. I just don't know how to start.
Well, after reading this letter, of course I was freaking out. But then I decided not to get my hopes up.
THE NEXT DAY
I went to school. School was as usual, boring. I told Andie about the letter and she was excited too. She was totally happy for me. We were talking about it the whole lunch time, well, until her boyfriend, Max, joined. He was Spencer's friend and I really didn't want him to know anything about the letter.
Not that I don't like him. I just don't trust him. He was a jerk to me. Well, he is still a jerk to me, but not in front of Andie. I kinda hate him but I didn't wanna hurt Andie and so does Max. So we both pretended that way.
And then school got over. I went home and changed my dress.
OF COURSE I wore the dress that he got me.
I mean........ How could I not?
It was my first gift from Spencer and the dress was pretty too.
And it was my favourite colour too.
It was a pretty black frock.
I went to the park, which he had told me to come and sat down on the bench.
it was almost half an hour. He wasn't there. Well, he didn't mention any time though. So I decided to wait for some more time. And then, there he was, walking towards me. It was my dream come true. 351Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡ3K3OLYTSHY
Well it was actually a dream come true. I was in fourth grade back then and I used to keep daydreaming about him asking me out. Well that's a different story and it was 6 years ago.
Yup! We are in tenth grade now!
So , there he came. He came to me hiding one of his hand back. We sat down and I really didn't know what to start. So I waited for him to start the conversation.
MINUTES LATER
We never uttered a word. I was starting to feel bored. So I tried starting the conversation.
" Hey Spence, I got your letter and the dress."
"Yeah, I know. And you look awesome."
OMG! Did he just say I am awesome? I am gonna faint. But then, I really did wanna know why he wanted to meet.
"Oh! Thanks. And why did you wanna meet me? You said it was 'really really important'. "
"Yeah! It is. I don't know how to start."
"Just say it out. You don't have to be so tense."
"Well, but I do need you to promise me!"
"Promise you? Promise you what?"
"That you wouldn't react until I complete everything that I wanna tell you."
"Fine, I promise."
My heart was beating like crazy. What did he want to tell me and why is he so nervous?
"Ok, so here's the thing. I don't know if you know anything about me. But we have been in the same class since first grade, which means that you know few things about me. But that's not the point. You don't know a lot of things about me. But I know a lot about you. Well, I have had a crush on you since first grade and I really didn't know how to talk to you."
And then he took his arm from behind his back and handed me a bunch of rosses and said, " I love you and I wanna be with you for the rest of my life!"
OMG! Am I dreaming? I was so surprised, shocked and was out of my freaking mind!
"I love you too!," was my reply of course. What else do you think I would have told?
Both of us were so happy. He didn't think I would say yes and I didn't think he was gonna propose me. And then we had dinner together and we went home.
That night in bed, I was thinking about what will be happening in school the next day.
I mean WE WERE OFFICIALLY GIRLFRIEND AND BOYFRIEND.
NOTE: I am ending this story here. But I am going to continue this story as the base of my own story(if the host of this contest accepts). To be honest, I never really thought about writing this for the contest. And it just came out. Please do comment if I should continue this story.
