It’s always fun going to the Nolans house, unless Sunny is blasting her music so loudly no one can actually hear me knocking. Whose idea was it to get her a speaker?

I knocked on the door out of courtesy but soon gave up and just called Violet who not so surprisingly didn’t pick up. I don’t think she’s ever picked up one of my calls . So, I called Sunny instead. After about thirty seconds of me ringing I heard the music stop, lots of yelling and finally the red door of the Nolans house opened just a crack. Just for me to see Violet's face peeking out.

They may be identical but it's quite easy to tell them apart. Sunny has a birthmark right before her hairline starts while Violet doesn’t. They both also have such different styles in clothes. Sunny wears a lot of colourful crop tops and simple pants while Violet wears more monotone colours and shows less skin. Today, she seemed to be wearing cargo pants with a loose white top.

After Violet made sure I wasn't a kidnapper or something along those lines, I was finally let inside. Almost nothing had changed since I had last been here except there were a few new games on the glass table. An unfamiliar box sat on the top of the pile, Caedis.

While I seemed to be staring at the box Violet had come up to me and started talking. “Oh you're checking out the new game, doesn't it look interesting? On the back it says the name is Latin pretty smart, right? Well I wonder what it means….”

I had forgotten Violet had a very cute habit of rambling when she’s interested in something. Though the game did look quite interesting.

“Maybe I shouldn’t have mentioned her rambling, I think I made her embarrassed,” I thought, I wasn’t sure but Violet had also seemed to blush. That could have been my imagination though. Staying up two days in a row is not a good idea at all. I’m honestly lucky I wasn't already asleep. I will never know how people lived before coffee.

I was honestly surprised that Sunny wasn’t in her room, she spends all her time in there. I don’t have a clue what she does or how she manages to stay in there for so long.

Violet and I opened up the box revealing many different objects. A board, cards, pencils, two-ten-sided dice and small character pieces. After taking out and setting everything up we noticed a small piece of paper that had turned yellow from sitting in the box for so long. It didn’t look too important so we just cast it aside.
