Just the mask you've had to wear

Under contemptuous sneering glares

I don't want to touch you

With these soft hands if my heart is still hard

I just want to cut my palm

With this broken ceramic shard

And anoint you with what's already yours

My hand across your forehead, your cheeks

And I want to walk with you back home

We've been gone for too many weeks

Darling you don't know yourself

Follow the calling of your agony

Darling keep looking for yourself

Because darling you are everything

You are everything

Wrapped up in the deepest blue

That blue at the centre of my everything

Darling I would worship you

And without you I'd die

And for you

I should die too

And it's not for me to be afraid of death
