Where do I find my home?
In the shade of trees?
Or the blaze of sunlight?
Or both?
I pick the forests of ancient Germania
I pick the ice-blown tundra of Nunavut
I pick the blazing burn of the universally-present sun
I pick the doubt of Orpheus
I pick the suicidal rage of Achilles
I pick the hail storms that topple monarchies
I pick the destructive ocean that the comfortable can't really see
I pick the disdain in young Katniss Everdeen
The day will come when your own mother sends you to your room to think about what you've done
The day will come when there's one-one like me who fears the though of having a mother
The day will come when my sister's children's children's children will storm the Bastille
