Vivian wasn’t expecting much other than some sort of mental crap but that’s not what happened, she just appeared in front of a door looking at it with confusion. The door was massive, easily the size of an entire school bus standing up… if the school bus opened from the top like a door does.39Please respect copyright.PENANAYCdcl2FjSe
“You like it?”
“What? The big ominous metal door??”
“It’s actually a very refined wooden mesh, I thought the same thing the first time I saw it.”
“And that means?”
“I dunno, it just sounded fancy.” Vivian looked at the door for a moment before she looked back over at herself.
“This door feels weeaaaand you’re already gone…” With a deep breath Vivian went to the door and began to examine it, something just felt off about it. Maybe off wasn’t the right wording, the door felt like it connected with her, like there was something to this door that resonated within her.
“You made it first? Makes sense I guess, you wielding an artifact as well as you do.” The Man says as Anderson comes through next with Skobi on his back still.39Please respect copyright.PENANA8bLp4Fer7K
“Come on, let’s get this done.” Altogether the three looked at the gate and Anderson fired a beam at the door, the door disintegrated his beam without much issue.
“What the heck is that?”
“No clue… It's the door’s defense against others, defense against us. I can’t break this, I think we can open it in some way. Maybe if we-” Vivian looked at the door and raised her arm, staring at the door a pink ball charged and blasted the door off its hinges. Stepping forward, The Man and Anderson followed after her, walking into the room they saw what appeared to be a large crystal with a humanoid figure trapped within.39Please respect copyright.PENANAEV3EY2UaA2

“Who’s that?” Vivian asked as she looked at the crystal, soon the eyes opened and the crystal cracked and splintered, shattering into various crystals. Each a varying color.
“Red, blue, green-” Anderson listed.
“Black, yellow, orange,-” The Man added.
“Pink, Purple?” Vivian spoke as she looked at the Crystals. Each one seemed to glow bright and vibrantly with energy, the trio closed in… One called to Vivian, it screamed almost. She needed to take it she needed to
“Bravo! Marvelous work Ms. Vivian Omoth! I might just become your biggest fan if I’m being totally honest!” A voice rang out through the empty void of the room, turning back she’d see-
“Thomas.” Anderson said as he looked behind them and saw Thomas walking up to them.
“Good work all of you, I never thought someone would be able to open the door. This very door has been inaccessible for generations of wielders. No one has opened it, no matter if they faced the trails, until you.” Thomas walked over and looked at the crystals.39Please respect copyright.PENANAdeBbakB2Nb
“The Crystal Of Calamity has shattered, it has completely fragmented into small power sources. Sources with so much power that they could create new sources and even destroy everything before and after them.”
“Thomas, what is this? Where's the guardians?” Anderson asked, looking over at Thomas as he walked past them and towards the crystals.
“The Guardians? Oh them, they're gone. All of them… thanks to me.”
“What?!” A flash of energy was shown before an explosion erupted out launching The Man and Anderson away causing them to slide to a stop.
“What the heck?! Thomas! What're you doing?”
“Quelling the Chaos, the one right here. Under the guise of the guardians. I've brought the threat right to us, Vivian Omoth. The Chaos Harbinger. But we couldn't beat her, not without the crystal’s power.” Anderson would hold one of the crystals and then grab the rest as his eyes began burning with a white glow.
“Wait… I'm trying to save the world… This doesn't make any sense.” Vivian was distressed, the last people she had a chance of talking to about this… they're gone?
“With that collar on? Once it latches onto you, you become an avatar of the apocalypse. The looming threat over the world, isn't this what we were for Anderson?” Thomas says.
“No no no, I'm not understanding this. So you're telling me, all of them. All of the Guardians! The people I trained my whole life from young to meet, the people I admired, my heroes! They're gone?! What are you talking about Thomas!!?” Anderson began to rage, his anger burning.
“Anderson. Don't be stupid, don't let your anger cloud you.” Thomas says.
“Otherwise you'll hurt them, just like you did to Terina.”
“Ho-How do you know that-” Anderson stood back in horror, his eyes wide and his face cold.
“Think about it, we could become Masters of our own fate! Save all of Belhaliam, we’ll be the new Guardians. Gods even.” Thomas says as she reaches out.
“Come on, think about-”
PSHHOOW!!
“Hmph!!” Vivian fired a blast at Thomas who retaliated with a barrier, blocking her and holding her beam back.
“It's no use Vivian, with these stones I can't be beaten. Not by a half baked-”
CRIK!
“What?!” Thomas put his hands up the crystals floating around him.
“How're you doing this?!” He shouted, Vivian looking down looked up at Thomas and her eyes were full of energy.
“HAAAAAAH!!!!” Vivian's power exploded, blasting Thomas back. Thomas would slide to a stop as he looked over at Vivian and stare at her, looking around at the crystals he'd see that they've started floating between them before blasting away into the light beyond.
“Tch…” Thomas looked at everyone as they began to walk up to him.
“You're gonna explain everything, now!!” Anderson kicked Thomas in the chest, reaching over and summoning a spear aiming at his face.
“Ghngh! But- nhf. That would spoil my plans and I don't think that's the best option for me…” Thomas said as he looked up at them.
“Plus. You've got me captive, yes but.” Thomas pointed.
“Who's got them?”
“What?” Vivian turned and then he saw what Thomas had meant.
“Anderson… we have to let him go.”
“No. We need to-”
“Anderson I'm not asking you to, I'm telling you.” Vivian grabbed Anderson and pulled him back.
“Crap…” Behind Anderson and Vivian soldiers held captive, Skobi, Mina and Alexander.
“Mmmm!! Mm Mm!!” Alex’s mouth was muzzled as he looked over at her.
“Now let's see what you do, they're under my command. With a thought I can tell them to do what they need to do, unless you let me leave.” Thomas begins to stand up but a red burst slams him back down.
“How do we know you're not bluffing?”
“Bluffing or ngh lying, not a chance you can take. Either way, we both lose… you'll just have to deal with the pain of having lost. I for one am not stupid enough to bring about the apocalypse I'm trying to prevent…” Thomas grunted from the pain, Vivian would look at Thomas and then those behind her. She'd glare at him before letting him go.
“Leave Thomas, I'd better not ever see you again.” Vivian said.
“What?! No no no, he needs to be stopped! It's part of war, it's the casualties we live with! If you let him go, he-”
“Oh my God Anderson SHUT UP!!!” Vivian's energy shook the cave and silenced Anderson, Thomas walked past her.
“Disappointing Vivian Omoth, farewell.” He walked past and once he was clear… Alexander, The Guards who held them captive, Mina, and The Man they all turned to glass then to shattered.
“Wh-What what is what-”
“THOMAS!!!” Anderson ran after him.
“He tricked us! After him!!” Vivian's eyes flooded with pink energy and she began to float, a pink barrier surrounded her and Anderson as she rocketed after Thomas with a scream of rage.
