(TW// sort of implied $u!side if that is triggering please don’t read this chapter. If you decide to skip this one, the only important information in this chapter is that Violet decides to go to the garage but is havin issues getting in. This is left on a cliffhanger. She is also having issues coping with her situation)

I was probably in denial about what the game said. But it was the best coping strategy for the time. I probably would’ve overthought this entire thing if it wasn’t for that. Maybe I would’ve just given up. There were heaps of ways to get out of this situation in this room I think that belt was still in here somewhere.

I was stuck in my thoughts until I heard the sounds of plastic hitting a surface. I moved away from the sound and closer to the candles.

“I already defeated one of you leave me alone!” I yelled.

I turned around. I didn’t find someone standing there but two red ten-sided dice. Those cursed dice. They brought me into this place they better take me out soon. I don’t know how much I can stand of this before I lost my mind. I can’t handle it when a lot of things happen at once. I break down. I wish I was able to cope with more things But I really can’t.

I stopped thinking about myself and did the next best thing. I took the dice and rolled them. I watched them roll onto a three and 4. Great, I had a seven so step outside this room. Or well if the game worked the same as the actual game that’s what I had. There was no door so I walked into the darkness hoping I did this right.

Apparently, walking into the darkness was the right choice. I felt the ground under me disappear as I walked. Soon there was light around me that wasn’t produced by candles. Taking over half of the space was something like a screen showing me outside of the room. I tried turning back but the room I was in before had been replaced by a big red question mark on a white tile. I took my time to examine everything. The red walls and white tiles seemed to be everywhere. Though there was a lack of doors. You could tell there was a room as they stuck out from the walls but there was no entrance. I wondered how I would get in. Maybe it was the same thing as this.

“Where do you want to go.”

The letters looked like they were typed in the worst font ever Comic San MS. Was it meant to calm us down? I felt like yelling at the game it was pissing me off. Yelling was sometimes the most therapeutic thing to do. So just to let go of some of my emotions I scrunched up in a ball and yelled in his dark room.

“I DON’T WANT TO BE HERE! LET ME GO! THIS IS CRAZY! I CAN'T HANDLE ANY OF THIS! I DON’T KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH THIS! WHAT AM I MEANT TO DO!? WHAT’S THE POINT OF THIS!?”

After I was almost finished when I felt something drop out of my pocket. It was the notebook. It opened up to a page and I saw something appear on it.

“Because it’s fun…”

I would have preferred no answer because this just made all my worries come back. Why would someone want to watch us suffer for their own entertainment? It’s like half of those survival fiction stories. It’s always because someone was bored can’t people have normal interests like knitting or drawing. Not watching people risk their lives.

“This is so messed up.” I muttered.

I picked up the notebook and placed it back inside of my pocket. The instructions were hard to understand so just I looked at the tiles and chose which room I wanted to go in. Hopefully, that was good enough for where I wanted to go. I walked out of the space and into the foyer area. I assumed I couldn’t step in the same tile twice. I didn't want to try anyway just in case there was a punishment or something. Who knew what that whole “shake things up” comment meant. It was better to be safe.

I made it to a room only using two of my steps. I noticed a door appear as I was walking. It was put in a convenient spot. I made it to the door but when I tried opening it, the door was stuck shut. I couldn’t get in.

Did I do many experiments regarding what dice sound like for this? Yup did I end up using any of that? Nope because I didn’t get anything I could work with. If anyone could describe what dice-dropping sounds like I would be very happy. It’s very cold in my area I was sitting in a blanket while finishing off this chapter. I hope you know that Violet will be heavily traumatized after this experience if she survives. She will not be happy. I love torturing my characters.
