I was stunned. I had opened the door to nothing. Just a plain white room that looked like it could go on forever. There were no distinct corners or ends. It looked like that time chamber from Dragon Ball Z. There was really nothing anywhere. What the hell was this? Was I free from fighting?

I noticed I was still standing in the front of the door. I took a step in…and slipped. The floor was hard and cold and very much white. But there were no lumps on the floor, it was completely flat. So how had I tripped? I looked back to see the door I entered through had also shut behind me. But there was also a flash of light.

I crawled near it. As I approached the light I saw that the object was a ring. One of those rings you would see at Swarovski. It looked like a wedding ring. Those big fancy ones that you would want but could never afford. That seemed like a common theme of this place. As soon I picked it up. I slipped, again. How often did these people polish their floors?

I flopped onto my back to get a better look at her. I expected her to be standing beside me but no the woman was hovering over me. At least she took the advantage. She had on a brown dress. That matched well with her tan skin. It ended at her knees and there was one massive strap holding it onto her body. In her hand, she held some large square object. That was edging closure to my face.

I probably shouldn’t have been analyzing her voice at that second mostly because an object was probably going to stop me from living. Without thinking I elbowed her in the knee making her topple. I took the opportunity to scurry out from under her legs. I don’t even know how she didn’t fall on me I guess I was just lucky.

I would love to say I ran to the other side of the room but this white place just continued on forever. So I was more running as far as I could from her. It sucked that there was nothing else to use but this ring. It was at times like this that I wished that I had a bit more arm strength.

The woman had managed to get up and start running back to me. I still had no idea what to do so I just did my usual thing. Not think and go for it. I slipped the ring onto my index finger and I ran towards her at full speed. My shoes weren’t made for this they weren’t sticking to the ground if I kept running I would fall over again. But I had no other option. I couldn’t really stop either way I would fall it was better to fall and maybe hit her so I kept running at full speed.
