The tall male whipped around. 

"One of Vine's cubs-" He muttered and leaped over the fern wall. Mist chased after him, STOP MOVING! Her mind screamed. The other leopard turned his head back and smirked slightly as her saw her struggling. They raced through the thick forest and Mist was surprised by his stamina. Even SHE was starting to get tired. 

It's now or never- She thought as she saw a cliff appear ahead. If he makes that cliff- I'll lose him. 

She used up her last spurt of stamina and leaped, landing on top of him. They fell to ground, rolling and turning. "Why are you here!" She shouted through the chaos. "Why are you here!?" He snapped back. 

"Excuse me!?" She shouted 

"Excuse YOU!" He hollered. 

They continued to roll along the path until Mist felt the ground drop out from beneath her- She felt the wind rush around her- 

 She was plummeting.

The leopards jumped away from each other in the mass of wind and chaos. Mist began to scream as she managed to turn around. They had fallen off the cliff! 

I'm gonna die! I'm gonna die!  All her instincts were flooded, and she could hardly focus on what to do. 

This all happen in a matter of seconds, and she had no time to react until she felt cold, hard rocks scrape her back. She yowled in agony. 

She could barely see when her body thudded against the ground. Her senses where numbing as she saw the other leopard thud beside her. 

He seemed to recover quickly and stalked over to her. He examined her and helped her up to a sitting position. 

She felt several bleeding wounds from the fall but none too serious as to prevent her from walking. She lifted her head to find the other leopard looking intently at her. 

"This is your fault." She muttered and swiped her paw at him. He flinched back and narrowed his eyes. 

"Well, I'm sorry- YOUR MAJESTY." He growled softly and turned his back to her.

"I'm the reason! We wouldn't be down here unless you wouldn't have attacked me!"

Mist was taken aback by these words. She searched for a come-back. 

"Well, I wouldn't have attacked you if YOU weren't snooping around in OUR territory!" she barked. 

He snarled and walked over to the cliff side. He hooked his claws into the stone and tried to scale the wall. 

"It's not going to work!" Mist yelled over his loud grunting 

He paused to glare at her before continuing up the wall. A few more feet up he fell, thudding onto the ground. He leaped back up and tried again. 

Mist sat down and thought to herself, this is going to be a long, hard day...
