Act 4
(Curtain Opens)
Scene:
12:31 PM August 10th, 1934
Sing Sing Prison Cell Block B Cell 2 Solitary Confinement.
( Luca sitting on his bunk lying against the Wall and thinking and talking to himself softly)
Luca: (Speaking low and softly)
I remember this one time, it was my second hit and I got the job from one of the made guys from the Profaci Family, his name was Dominic "The Fox" Russo, he wanted this guy from a street gang called"The Marauders" his name was Johnny Silverman he was extorting money on the Profaci's turf and he was warned once and didn't take the warning. I asked why didn't just do it and he replied he didn't want the mess. So I said okay no problem.
So I did little investigating to find out who this punk was. I heard that the hangout was in Brownville on Pitkin Avenue, They hung out in the alley behind a Goldberg Department store.
I drove around and parked in front of Cohen's Clothing Emporium. It was a block away from Goldberg's and I saw a couple of teenagers walking in front of Goldberg's making a right turn and heading down the alley. It was about 8 am and there weren't many people out yet. So I waited for them to go down further and out of sight, then I walked down the alley and stopped when I heard talking. I looked around the corner and saw six kids in a group. I waited for one of the kids to say the guy's name that wanted to wack. I waited for one of the guys to say his name to get a positive ID on him. I heard one of the guys ask for a cigarette and the guy said thanks and then the guy who gave the cigarette said no problem, Johnny. So I got my guy and I'll come back later. I heard they hang out there all day long so it will be easy to find him. I came back around 6 pm I grabbed my gun and I grabbed my mini sledgehammer and walked up the alley quietly. I looked around the corner, I got lucky Johnny was sitting alone and staring at the fire in a burning barrel. So I walked up behind him and smashed his skull in with the mini sledgehammer and he dropped like a rock and knocked over the burning barrel on himself and he started burning, I just left him and went home. That was easy I thought. I kind of laughed thinking about it.
(Stage lights fade and the curtain closes)
