Silcon screamed in agony as her porcelain wings shattered at Auroral’s touch… no not Auroral, it was something else. Something dark that escaped out of the angel, taking control of her mind and body. Silcon laid on the ground in pain, shaking and breathing deeply. The corrupt angel opened the borealis, sending it and Auroral into the vastness of Deep Space. In one last attempt Silcon reached out, trying to reawaken Auroral, by shouting her name. “AURORAL!” Silcon screamed after her, but she was gone. The broken princess wept, holding herself in both pain and sorrow. The Guardians around her whispering and mumbling about if this was all really worth it, if they should follow Silcon and that Anomaly of an angel. Silcon rose to her feet, struggling to keep her balance with the lack of weight she had grown accustom to. “Guardians!” all the faces turned to her, young eyes shining brightly in the cosmic light. “Young Guardians, I’m Silcon, and I am here to tell you not to lose faith in the cause before you! We are to retake a stolen kingdom from two insane monarchs, Queen Zecra and Lord Vitus of the Dragon Kingdom! They have been created to take rule over that kingdom as a benefit to the Shadow Lord! But I say enough! Enough lies! Enough false royalty! For you see I am not of true royalty either! That is why I renounced my crown! Because it was not in my right to take the crown of the Harpy Clan I was raised into!” Silcon stopped shaking then, she stood strong and confident. Like a true queen giving a speech to her army. “So I say let us dethrone the false royals and cleanse the Over!” Silcon got an uproar from the Guardians, new fire igniting inside them, determination. Silcon looked to the galaxies above and smiled, a piece of her false porcelain face falling away, revealing a new face; the skin dark and eyes a bright orange, her hair underneath a snow white. “Father… Mother… my family…” Silcon mumbled to herself as the Guardians prepared themselves for battle. “I am finally coming home.”
The Guardians Laynee, Skylar, Lea and Chris (also known as the Star Heroes) opened a dimensional portal directly to the Over, Silcon standing beside them. “It is incredible how you are able to do that.” Silcon smiled at them each, they only shrugged. “It’s just something we’ve always been able to do I guess, ya’ know, main character powers and such.” Lea joked, the other laughed a bit but Silcon didn’t follow their Guardian humor. “What do you mean by ‘main character powers’? What do you think this is all a story and we are either main or side characters?” Silcon laughed, hoping they would laugh too. But they didn’t. They were shocked actually. The other Guardians had arrived then; a brown braided haired girl with a bow and arrows approached the five, saluting them with her arms crossed over her chest (right over left) and fingers pointed at the sky, palms facing her. The other four Guardians with Silcon did the same. “We are all set, everyone knows their roles and has partners for their according procedures.” Laynee smiled and chucked. “Man Faun, you sure do sound like a book. Why don’t you try to be looser?” Faun sighed but had a determined smile. “It’s because if I’m not at my best, then my arrows don’t fly accordingly.” Laynee nodded, Faun saluted one last time to them and left, returning to the crowd. Silcon took a deep breath, looking into the portal at the land she had called her home.
Silcon walks through the portal only to be greeted by a classic office layout with slow music in the background. Silcon turned to look back at the Guardians, they only shrugged in confusion. Silcon shrugged back and approached the receptionist desk where two twin receptionists sat. One, a Celtic male paladin warrior, draped in silver rustic armor from ages lost, his wings also a rustic color, and bones of distant beings rest upon the shoulders and around the neck, fur covering the shoulders. His hair a deep brown, eyes a glowing yellow color. The other, a rouge female with a black silk hood to cover her face, her deep brown hair sticking out the sides but falling evenly at the bottom of the hood. Her outfit that of an assassin, black with gold around the edges, adding class to the deadly rouge. Silcon held her breath for a minute, staring at the twins. But she’s too much of a clod to just awkwardly stand there so she approached the counter. “Name.” the female said in a harsh voice, her eyes showing from under her hair. Her yellow eyes ablaze with hatred for Silcon. Silcon cleared her throat. “I’m Silcon-“The male raised his hand to silence the princess. The twins conversed in whispers for a moment. “Alright Silcon, you are here for the mid revolution appointment right?” the male asked, writing something down with a jagged bone and an unfortunate soul’s blood. Silcon only stood in confusion, hating the fact that I added this part even though it seems irrelevant to the main story line but she’s just a side character and doesn’t understand what the hell is going on. “Vincetta, can you please let Kito know his guest has arrived?” the female stood abruptly. “What don’t you do it Divinair?!” Vincetta yelled at him, knife in hand. Divinair stood as well, a battle axe of both bone and meteoric metal in his hands. “BECAUSE I ASKED YOU TO DO IT!” he yelled, Silcon backed away, seeing how this is going to end up. “YOU PHOCKING DO IT!!” Vincetta yelled, suddenly becoming Scottish. “NO YOU PHOCKING DO IT!!” Divinair yelled back, turning Scottish as well. Silcon saw a door off to the left side, so as the twins argued over who was doing what, Silcon slipped in past the door and made her way through the classy velvet carpet hallway.
The hallway itself seemed to break the laws of space and time, pictures of the past, present and future on the walls. Silcon stopped to look at one, a picture of a white haired man in a cloak with some sort of dragon hybrid with a flute around her neck. Silcon had no idea why this picture drew her in so much, but she couldn’t think about that right now. She had to move forward. Picking up the pace, Silcon practically jogged down the hall till she reached the golden door she had been heading to. It was made of literal gold, like all gold. Why? Who knows? But Silcon grasped the handles swiftly and pulled open the heavy doors with ease. Inside the dimly lit office was a tall and lanky cloaked figure with white hair, pale skin and purple eyes glistening in the millions of stars outside the window. “Silcon, I have been expecting you.” He said, sitting down. “Please. Sit.” Silcon sat hesitantly, looking around the room and at this mysterious man’s book collection. On the shelf to the left was an array of books, a series called Rise of the Half Bloods. She glanced at four in the middle of the series… Zecra’s Fall, Thana in Ashes, Gate of Tanda and Alakin Draped in Shadows. Silcon looked back at the cloaked man, seeing the names of her “siblings” on the binds of those books gave her chills through her porcelain mask. “Silcon, do you know why I summoned you here?” the man asked her, she shook her head silently, occasionally glancing at the books and their secrets. She was looking at the numbers on the binds, noticing that book three was nowhere to be found among the collection. The man sighed and pulled something out from a drawer and held it up for her to see. It was book three, its title: Silcon the War Starter. Silcon’s jaw dropped at seeing her name on the finished book. “This book here is what happens in future events. Your future events actually.” He paused, the silence engulfing them like a sea of black ink. “I have called you here to discuss an important matter involving your future.” He said, tapping the books spine. “What do you want?” Silcon snapped, crossing her arms nippily. The man stood. “What I want Silcon. Is for you to sign a little contract. It’s not long. It only states that you have to sell yourself to the rule of the true king of The Forgotten Realm, by doing that you will successfully win the war you seek.” Silcon hesitated on the offer, not quite sure what The Forgotten Realm was or how it related to her. But she needed to win this war against the corrupted monarchies. “Alright… I’ll do it.” The man smiled at her and handed her a contract, a pen and some golden ink. “Then sign.” He stepped back and watched as Silcon signed her name on the line, her real name. Silcon Karma BloodSun. Once she finished the man swiped the contract from her and rolled it up neatly, going over to a scroll rack off to the left next to the book shelf and placing it among other contracts like hers. “Now that we are done here it is time for you to go.” The man snapped his fingers, and in a few heartbeats the twins from before enter the room. The grabbed Silcon by the arms (one has one arm and one has another) and made their way down the hallway, past the desk and tossed Silcon through the portal. She landed at the feet of the Guardians who did not look even the slightest bit amused at Silcon landing on her face, accept for Trin. Trin was laughing so hard she fell over and couldn’t get up.
The twins entered the office again, keeping a close eye on the cloaked figure. “Master Kito, she has been thrown through the portal, her fate is set.” Vincetta said, her voice cracking a bit. Kito smiled wickedly and placed book three on the shelf. “Excellent. When is our next guest coming?” he asked, blood lust in his eyes. The twins were speechless for a bit until Divinair spoke up “She will be arriving soon with Yayo and Terioka.” Kito nodded slowly, remembering a time when he and them… “Alright. Make preparations for their arrival immediately.” The twins nodded and left the room, mumbling to each other and saying stupid corny puns as they went back down the hall. Kito turned to the bookshelf and pulled another book out, it was book 22: Race to the Sea. Kito placed the book in a drawer under his desk to prepare for the next guest, he turned to face out the window and muttered under his breath. “Grimm… Auroral… your unity… will be no more.”
PART 2
Silcon and her forces quietly made their way into the dark Aquatic land, the desolate marshes hiding the infiltrators with ease. The Guardians flanking and taking out scouts along the way, each Aquatic guard dying slowly and quietly under the swift assassinations of the professionally trained Guardians. Silcon and her main guard force making their way through the center of the march and to the deepest lake in the Aquatic lands, the supposed area where their castle is kept. The Star Bound Heroes surrounded the princess on all sides, occasionally leaving her side to cut down a hidden guard. Silcon laughed and started dancing like a ballerina, the dark blue blood of the Aquatic guards staining the ground around her. She has never felt such enjoyment before, so much thrill. And as she finished her graceful dance she was on the shore of a lake that seemed to stretch on forever. Thirteen Guardians came out of the brush and joined the five of them on the lakes shore. These Thirteen were the Zodiac Bearers, the ones who gain tremendous power from their signs. The leader, the thirteenth zodiac, stood face to face with her, a dark grey hood covering her face but her four fiery colored horns clear in the moonlight.
“Silcon, I am Olinia Fequis, the bearer of the Ophiuchus sign and leader of the Zodiac Bearers.” She saluted the princess with an unsettling look, they were all young, especially the Virgo of the group who seemed like she was at least ten. Olinia motioned to one of the zodiacs standing beside her. His orange hair and green eyes glowing like a flame in the gentle moonlight.
“This is Krill bearer of the sign Cancer. He, Coral the Aquarius bearer and Pearl the Pisces bearer will be the ones to dive into the lake and retrieve the underwater castle.” The four of them looked from one to another with annoyed expressions, they glared at Silcon occasionally and gave the Star Bound Heroes looks of question. For all who are unaware of the plan, Silcon plans to send the water based zodiacs deep into the castle and bring it to the surface, to do that they must break through their protective barrier that surrounds the device that keeps the castle underwater. The Libra and Taurus of the group seemed to be protecting the little Virgo from doing anything to reckless, they would give looks to the others as well, even the leader Olinia. They were plotting something, Silcon knew that much, but she was in no position to oppose them.
“Alright, you three go and do that, the rest of you take your squads and start gathering forces and taking down the kingdoms.” Silcon ordered, getting murderous looks in return. They all nodded. The little Virgo approached her, a dreaded look on the Libra and Taurus’s faces.
“We have been to the Angel Kingdom and their new king is willing to help us if we help him.” The little girl smiled innocently.
“Galaxy.” The Libra hissed, the girl, Galaxy, running back to the protection of the Libra and Taurus. Silcon nodded approvingly and gave the little one a smile.
“Good, very good.” Silcon laughed and looked out across the water. Her mask of solitude breaking away so most of her face was now visible, her hair flowing freely in the wind. The three water bearing zodiacs dove into the water, the others leaving Silcon and the Star Bound Heroes alone once again.
“Silcon, may I ask you something?” Chris asked, her short blond hair covering one of her bright blue eyes.
“Of course Chris.” Silcon turned to face them. But once she did, she got the instant sense of dread.
“What do you know of a banished Guardian named Tala?” the four of them had a look that made Silcon freeze in her place, she gulped.
“I… I don’t know what you’re talking about. I didn’t even know there was a banished Guardian…” they knew Silcon was telling the truth based off their Guardian instinct or their perceptiveness. Chris nodded slowly.
“Okay… I was just asking…” they were rendered in silence for what seemed like centuries. Then, the water started bubbling, the castle slowly rising to the surface.
“Alright Guardians… let us go…” Silcon led the way, other Guardians coming out of the shadows, watching, waiting, and judging.
It has been five months since Silcon and her army started their attack on the final kingdom… The Draconic Kingdom. On her side was the Guardians, beings of ultimate power and immortality, the Angels with their new King Phenax, and the Harpies, their queen hidden away from the combat for supposed logical reasons. On the Draconic’s side was the Aquatics, who were saved by the Dragons when Silcon attacked them five months earlier, and the Celestials, their glowing appearance rendered ineffective to Silcon’s army. The Mages were a neutral party, healing both the Dragons army and Silcon’s.
“Silcon, we have returned.” Luna, a white haired dragon shifter, approached with her partner Lylac, another dragon shifter with dirty blond hair. Silcon and her allies, King Phenax and a representative from the Harpy kingdom were around a tactical table, a map of the Draconic lands in the center of it.
“What news have you brought Guardians?” the representative hissed, getting dirty looks in return.
“Silcon, we have scouted out the border and have seen their tactical approach. They plan to use the Celestials as a diversion while the Aquatics attack through the waterways and the Dragons from the skies. Silcon nodded considering this.
“Thank you Luna and Lylac, you are dismissed.” Silcon sighed as she watched them go, they didn’t salute her, they just grumbled under their breaths as they left.
“Phenax, what do you suggest?” Silcon looked up to the king, he had more experience leading a revolution than she did, not to mention he was greatly respected and feared for both destroying the Demon clan but also standing up to the corrupted princess Auroral. Silcon had always wondered what had happened to her, but then again, it was none of her business.
“Since we know what their plan is we can now use that to our advantage. I suggest we ambush them tonight, sending the Guardians in first, then the Harpies as back up, the Angels will then come in from the sides and corner any remaining.” Silcon and the representative nodded agreeing.
“Smart plan Angel. I can see how you won against the Demons so easily and over threw the old royal family.” The harpy cackled, King Phenax shook his head in annoyance.
“We leave at dusk.” Silcon smiled to the two, unaware of what was lurking underneath.
PART 3
The armies marched at dusk. The place where the Draconic armies were stationed was in a ravine between the highest peaks of the mountain range that use to serve as the border between Zecra’s half of the kingdom and Vitus’s half of the kingdom. Silcon stood at the top of a lower peak, watching the Guardians slink their way through the trees and into the clearing where the sleeping armies lay. She could see the Harpies awaiting the signal from Silcon and King Phenax and his army in the mountain peaks. The sun was a minutes from setting completely, the wind blowing their way, giving them the upper hand. Silcon rose from her crouching position, her mask broken away completely. Her eyes glowing in the twilight. She picked up a blackened bow and a blackened arrow that had be placed next to her. Taking a steady breath she said a silent enchantment to the arrow tip and readied the bow, pointing the arrow upward. And as she released the arrow she spoke the words in almost a shout:
“RISE OF THE HALF BLOODS!” the arrows tip ignited into a neon blue flame and exploded, the Guardians already slaughtered half of the army, the Harpies and Angels engaging battle as well. And somewhere in the multiverse, Kito was smiling wickedly, knowing that the young princess had indeed done as what was written, she even said the key words to her own destruction.
Kito smiled at his fourth and fifth guests, they sat across from him, glaring.
“Auroral, Grimm, I have been expecting you.” Kito smiled, Grimm (the one in control) hissed.
“Just tell me what you want demon…” Grimm was the one Kito had to reason with first in order for his plan to succeed. But based off her reaction now, he could tell it was going to be a lot harder than expected.
“Now, now Grimm, no need to be so aggressive.” Kito rose, blade like teeth in the form of a wicked smile. Grimm sat still for a moment and sighed.
“Just tell me what you want…” Grimm said in more of a kind tone. Kito sat back down.
“I want to make a deal with you and Auroral. A deal of a lifetime.” Kito placed a contract, pen and golden ink in front of Grimm, he knew Auroral was listening in.
“I will separate you two so you can freely do as you please without doing any unnecessary damage to the other. But I need something from you both in return…” Grimm sat up intrigued. Kito smiled wickedly, a distant star going supernova in the distance.
“I need you both to eradicate some progenies for me… The Gatekeepers to be exact.” Grimm held her breath, Kito had to be very careful with this next step.
“You don’t have to kill them, I just need them out of the way when Tala’s armies arrive at the gate. If you don’t get to them first however… the Underneathians will surly kill them.” He had them around his finger, their protective instinct kicking in. Even though they were only half siblings, Grimm and Auroral would do anything for their younger sisters Thana and Tanda. Grimm pulled the contract closer and started signing her name in the golden ink, Auroral taking over next to sign her own. Kito glanced over at book four, five and six (Zecra’s Fall, Gate of Tanda and Thana in Ashes). He saw book three glowing a dull golden color, Silcon’s story was about to end.
“Okay… we signed it. Now separate us.” Auroral tried to sound intimidating, but her gentle nature could never come close to daunting Kito. Kito stood, his smile sending shivers down Auroral’s back.
“Alright then… hold still!” he cackled as he started to separate the two in the most painful way possible.
Silcon’s armies rained over the Draconic land, the Guardians pushing them back from the middle and the Angels taking them out from the skies. During the middle of the fight Silcon had joined her troops, fighting along the Guardians, Harpies and Angels in a battle that would be remembered for ages to come. The sun was slowly rising. Blood stained Silcon’s armor, her swords slashing at flesh and scales. It almost seemed unnatural at how powerful and skillful the young princess was at combat, almost like she was born for it. They could see the castle now, its surface reflecting the dawn, and at the base of the castle was none other than the corrupted twins themselves, Zecra and Vitus. Silcon could see some sort of portal behind them, two young dragonets in the form of human children escaping into a land unlike their own. But surprising to Silcon was the lack of appearance from Jezie, Zecra’s mate. But it mattered not, what was most important was claiming the castle. Dawn kissed the peaks of the mountains, strange shadows bouncing back to the ground. Silcon looked back, looked up, as did everyone on that battlefield. Above them were the monsters of unspeakable madness and bloodlust, the Underneathians. And their leader, a dragon of crimson red and grey running down her wings, back and tail, silver separating the two colors. Her bright neon green eyes ablaze.
“Guardians!” She shouted out to them, every single one of them listening like they were having a conversation with an old friend.
“I am Tala! I was once a Guardian like all of you! But I was banished to the Underneath! And do you know why? Because I am the rightful heir to the Draconic throne! Queen Zecra and Lord Vitus banished be to the multiverse as to claim the throne for themselves! And the rest of the Underneathians? They were once citizens of The Over! They had discovered the Dragons dirty secret and were banished like I was!” Each Guardian’s face turned to face the Dragons alone, every other army turning with them. The one monster, a purple Ravenger, held up a ripped blackened flag with a red star and three red circles underneath the star, the sign of the banished.
“FOR THE QUEEN!” she shouted, each army yelling along with her and charging the castle. Everyone was in pursuit of the dragons and their rulers accept for Silcon, who just stood there in silent shock. She heard the sound of wings and the thud of the rightful queens landing behind her. Silcon turned to face her, she was back to her human form. Her crimson red hair and neon green eyes yelling death at the rising sun and at the forgotten princess. Her pale skin almost sparkling against her dark, ripped dress and armor.
“Silcon Bloodsun. Princess of the Bloodsun clan, the most feared in The Forgotten Realm.” Tala hissed her claws, tail, wings and teeth remaining dragon like. Silcon didn’t move, she couldn’t. She was frozen in fear and pride.
“I would spare your life… but sadly I cannot. Leaving a Bloodsun alive would only start another war, would create more death.” Tala grabbed Silcon by the throat. The princess struggled, but failed miserably to shake Tala’s grip.
“Say hello to your clan for me, murderer.” With those final words Tala ripped Silcon apart at the stomach and chest with a single stroke. Tala dropped Silcon, limp and bloodied. Silcon coughed up blood, her eyes growing heavy.
“You… planned this… didn’t you…? Kito…” Silcon chuckled, looking up at the beautiful sunrise.
“Heh… I guess… I did get the war I asked for… right… mom…” Silcon as of that moment died on the battlefield, her blood among the others who died in this legendary battle.
