When I first met her I had been expecting a random rogue who had trespassed. When my guards spoke of the condition she was in, and her lack of knowledge of being a werewolf. I had to check it out.
Its very rare. Scrap that. It’s extremely rare that a werewolf doesn’t have the six most common vaccines to protect against disease and also to control their emotional tempers.
werewolves and humans are drastically different. Biologically and physically. They were ultimately different sub species.
Although we like to promote an equal image that both humans and werewolves should have the same rights as each other. It would be quite daft to think the human race was anything in comparison to us.
This woman who had been found, was found with several miscellaneous items and documents. In the documents there were records of her from when she was an infant to now. The documents were all very precise and scientific. Everything was included in these documents.
Our gamma is still going through the documents. Alarmingly it seems she had been mated with someone who is not her mate.
In werewolf society this only happens after the werewolf has reached 150 years minimum. Many choose not to settle down with anyone permanently if they don’t find their soulmate. So again this was another questionable thing about her. Many werewolves often are given the choice of travelling around the world to other packs to find their soulmate.
What was worrying was this woman was half-human and not fully transformed. Whilst the Male was a fully transformed werewolf. Not to mention he was a lot older than her. This is problematic especially since they are not soulmates, I.e their bodies are not compatible. In werewolf biology not every wolves DNA is compatible with another. That’s why soulmates exist. Their bodies react well to each other and able to procreate without issues of miscarriages and birth defects.
It’s biologically extremely rare for a human and wolf to be mated. Which has lead us to believe her parents may also have been in a similar circumstance.
It seems they had been systematically paired together. For their contrasts and difference.
Confused as to who this is, I had to investigate it myself. This situation seemed like a planned and intentional experimentation on werewolf and human hybrids. All the key information, the detailed parts all suggested to that.
Walking into the building, the stench that had filled the halls was like no other, the pungent smell was overpowering and suffocating. I walked down the halls with my back straight and a emotionless expression. I must not look weak next to my pack.
I must maintain composure and a strong aesthetic. Many of my pack members think I do not have what it takes to be Alpha.
if this woman was in the type of circumstance that I’ve predicted then, this could be the problem that helps me gain the support of the pack. To bring down an illegal experimentation lab will do wonders for my image internal image within the pack and international image within world leaders and pack Alphas.
The smell doesn’t get any better as I walk down the halls with my delta in tow. When we get to the location I see my Beta standing next to a door, texting on his phone .
“Axel, prepare yourself” my Beta says and opens the door. As the door opens the smell gets even stronger. It suffocates me in a deathly grip.
still remaining calm and emotionless I walk in with my head held high. There is no way I will show my delta and beta any weakness and incompetencies. They already see me as a point brat. There’s no need to add incompetent imbecile to it.
I stop short when I see the woman laying on the bed. Looking at her features and unopened eyes I could tell she is my soulmates. She was a heavy woman. Her hair was all over the place despite it being in two braids at either side of her head.
Sighing I didn’t know her w to react. This couldn’t have been a worser time for her to show up. I must make a deal with Marvin, the one thing I had was that I had no soulmate.
Now all has been ruined because of this suffocating and inconvenient woman.
“What’s her name?” Is asked in s strained voice.
”From the documents the game read, she is called Isobel” the guard said simply. She was unaware of how important this prisoner now was. I could tell from the way she snarled at the prisoner and the distaste in her eyes.
I decided to ignore that and not correct it. It’s probably best people don’t know she’s my soulmate.
”Ok, keep monitoring her and wait for the Gamma’s instructions” I did a quick 180, not being able to stop myself from looking back.

authors note~ Sorry I don’t really know how to use this app very well. I just love writing and want to know what everyone thinks. Let me know how you feel about the book so far.
