After what happened last night with the prince teaching me how to skate it got a little weird between us. It's not like I would like to be Queen because of the dresses and servants, maybe I want to be Queen for other reasons. I showered and Mary Anne Picked me out a white top and a skirt. I went downstairs into the kitchen. I didn’t know Kiki works in this kitchen too!
“Hey, Kiki!” I said
“Hello, Your Majesty!” Kiki jokes. I chuckled
“So what's cooking?” I said
“Vanilla Crepes with syrup and fruit!” Kiki said. My stomach rumbled. I couldn’t help it. Everyone in the kitchen looked at me. I felt like hiding in a hole.
“Well, I can't wait to try them!” I said trying to break the silence after the earthquake that had accrued in my stomach. I went out of the kitchen. I was about to go upstairs but I felt someone grab my hand.
It was just Mary-Anne.
“Hello, Sweetie I need to tell you all about the event for today! So today we are doing the dress fitting and also I forgot to tell you there is this huge cotillion that you are the star of! Just you know a quick update! Follow me, Love!” She said. She grabbed my hand and took me to this big white building. She went inside and put me up on a pedestal. I stood there for a while and then I saw Mary Anne and another woman who introduced herself as Kimmy come into the room. They showed me a palette of colors and I decided to go with the Navy Blue color. They came back in with a silky navy blue dress with a beautiful v cut. I put on the dress and it fit like a glove! It was perfect! She folded it away and put it into a bag.
“Here you go, my love! Now the cotillion is tomorrow so we have some stuff to do!” she said.
The whole afternoon I was training walking in heels and humiliating myself but today I had dinner with the prince. Mary Anne picked out the outfit for the dinner with the prince. It was a white leather jacket with a tennis skirt and a blue blouse. Mary Anne took me downstairs. She took me to the Golden Diner that the Royal Family-owned. We shook hands and I sat down.
“So it must be a lot of work for the cotillion, especially since you're a prince,” I said. His brown skin glowed in the light of the cafe.
“Yes, But it is nothing that I haven't got used to. I wish that sometimes I would just live a normal life” He said. I felt bad for him… Kind of.
After we ate, I went to bed. I dreamed about the cotillion tomorrow and me being the star of the event. I can't wait to get this over with.
