"Why did he choose me out of all people in that crazy big ballroom," I said as I talked to Gia. We had both left early so she could help me pack my clothes. "Mabey he thinks you are special. I mean, after all, he did show up to the cafe," she said. "I know but why me my aunt needs me to help pay her bills and I have to go live with some prince," I said in frustration. "Done!" Gia said with a smile on her face. "Were done packing!" "Whyyyy!" I said sadly. I looked out my window and saw a big black limo stretching across my driveway. I snagged my suitcase from Gia and pointed to the limo. "A LIMO!" Gia said. "Let's go NOW!" She said. In less than 10 seconds we were outside. "Slow down G-" I stop in the middle of my sentence. I saw a tall man. He soon decided to say "I am the royal chauffeur I will be driving you to the palace on this fine evening, What is your name young lady," he said to me. "Samantha, but I prefer Sam," I said. "And who are you young lady," he said. "My name is Gianna but I prefer Gia," she said fiddling with her dress. "Well now since I know you it's time to hop in, go ahead don't be shy, and leave your suitcase, we will put it in the trunk. "We?" I said. Three other men came from behind the car. They had suits on and already had several things in the trunk. I saw them put my suitcase gently into the trunk. I said goodbye to Gia and my Aunt. I kissed them goodbye and waved to them as the car was taking off "Come visit!" I hollered to them. I saw their nods of agreement.
It was a long drive to the Castel but when we finally got there I saw a big Castel with tons of soldiers in the front of the house waiting to greet me. I couldn't wait to see the inside of that place! When the Limo stop I knew it was time for me to get out but as soon as I tried to touch the handle another hand opened the door for me.
"We are here Your Highness," he said to me. As soon as we stepped into the castle a woman came up to me.
"Hello! My name is Mary Anne! I will be your Wardrobe Stylist!" Another woman came up to me. "Hello, I am Heather I will be your personal Maid." and one woman poped from behind her and said, " Hello I am Martha and I am your Tourist!" and finally one last woman appeared "Hello My name is Kathryn and I will be your Personal Makeup artist." I was amazed I have my own Makeup artist, tourist, Stylist, and a Maid! I won't have to do anything for myself! "May I show you to your room?" Martha said. "Yes, you may" I reply. Martha leads me up a long stairway up to my room. I saw a beautiful white door. Martha opens the door and I saw A beautiful white bedroom with a bed that was as white as snow with a light blue edge. it was perfect. She leads me to the closet. I saw a beautiful collection of clothes. I turned around to look at Martha's face. She was smiling at me. She showed me downstairs and all around the Castel for the rest of the evening. My stylist, Mary Anne came up to me and said "It's time to pick out your dinner outfit to meet the royal family."
"Ok," I said
She took me upstairs and picked out an outfit. It was a short blue dress above the knees with a beautiful blue leather jacket and a blue beret.
I walked into the huge dining room. It had a big gold chandelier and a white set up. I saw the family of royals staring at me.
"Hello! My name is Samantha Kim but you can call me Sam!" I said trying to make conversation. A woman smiled. I am pretty sure that was the Queen.
"Hello darling my name is Queen Victoria II, This is my son Prince Luke - Orion and my husband King Caspian - Rovira." She said all in a happy and bright attitude.
I shook all of their hands and I said: "It's so wonderful to be living with all of you !"
King Caspian replied, "What a fine young lady you are!"
I thanked him and sat down at the dinner table. Martha had already left so I was all alone with the Royal Family. There are butterflies in my stomach.
"So young lady," King Caspian said. "How old are you?"
"I am 16 years old," I said
"Our son over here is 17" Queen Victoria said. "I am so excited to finally have another woman in this Castel that is not a cook or a maid." Queen Victoria announced.
Two ladies came into the room with dinner. Stakes, Vegetables, Cake, Jello, and all kinds of treats! I could tell they were ready to eat but I said "Should I say the prayer?"
They all looked surprised. I repeated, "Should I say the prayer?" The King nodded.
After the prayer was over I put on the most polite face I have ever put on in my life and said "Bon Appetit!"
After dinner, Martha and Mary Anne were huddling around me. "How was it," They said in sync followed by a giggle between the two.
"It was ok, we talked about things like "Princess behavior" and stuff," I said.
Mary Anne took me to the closet and picked out a beautiful nightgown with a light blue flower on it. I went down and everyone was in Nightgowns and Nightshirts. The prince had one on to. He came up to me and said "Enjoying the Castel?" I nodded in agreement. "I have had so much fun today!" I said but on the inside, I was questioning why I was chosen to come here. Of course, it was beautiful but I miss my family. I really hope these 3 months go by fast.
