Chapter Four
The letter read:
To Mister Harry Potter,
You are to be invited to be part of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry; you shall bring an owl, a toad, or a rat; you shall wear robes, have a wand, and books for classes; you are to arrive at Platform 9 3/4 at Charing Cross Station, London at 11:00 AM, on September 1st.
Signed,
Professor Albus Dumbledore, Headmaster of Hogwarts
Harry read again.
'I need to go Uncle Vernon'.
Vernon Dursley smirked.
'You're not going', he said.
'Why not?', Harry asked him.
'You're going to St Brutus's'.
Harry sighed, and he was about to say something when the front door burst open. A tall giant of a man appeared.
'Good morning, Harry. I'm Rubeus Hagrid. Keeper of the Keys, and Groundskeeper at Hogwarts'.
'Hello', Harry said.
'It seems I arrived in time'.
'I see'.
'Yes, I heard about the letters, Harry. Besides, why would the Dursleys care about you, unless they care about Dudley, who is a bully. You were protected for a reason; you don't need them', Hagrid said.
'And'.
'Oh, I see. Let me look around here. Yes, a letter for you. And we'll be away, unless you'd rather be with Muggles'.
'Muggles'.
'Non-magic folks'.
'Oh'.
'Yes, it's time to go, Harry'.
Harry grabbed his luggage, and headed out of the door.
