I don’t really remember what happened while I was waiting. I think I just sat there trying to figure it all out. I even flicked through the pages trying to find something. Luckily it didn’t take too long for the dice to land. I hadn’t even noticed until the floor beneath me shook rattling the die. Of course, I took them and rolled.

I was unlucky this time. Two ten-sided dice and I got two ones. Only two steps. I hoped I could just skip out on this round. Nothing would come after me hopefully.

Instead of darkness, the door swung open allowing me to look outside. I guess since I had nowhere to go so it made sense. I took one step and then another. That’s all I could do. I assumed nothing would happen to me so I shut my eyes and used it to rest. I was so wrong.
