Gonna be completely honest here for a second...
I'm just a surprised as y'all are with the twists and turns from this book.
Like, sometimes, I don't even feel like I'm the one creating the story; instead I just feel like I'm the messenger. It definitely has this vibe that the story is writing itself.
The first scene I ever saw was the scene I am working through right now at the campfire. It almost feels like the turning point of the story. Where they start to discover things and start to feel more like a team.
But I had no idea the entire process that was going to happen to get them to that scene. I even originally planned it to happen somewhere in New Jersey... not in Spain.
And I also feel like that's why this whole story seems to be centered around fire, because the first scene I ever saw play out in my head had fire at the center.
And being honest again, I know where I want the rest of the story to go. I know we have three different locations across Europe. I know we are about to be finding some clues. I know we are about to make big head way with the Guardians.
I just don't know how we are going to get to those points.
So y'all buckle up, I have no idea where we are about to go, but I guarantee you it will be a CRAZY ride.
