Hehe. Yeah. This book is extremely crazy and has like a million different details that are totally random. And actually- none of this came from a dream, believe it or not.
It came from one Wednesday, when I just stood against a wall and watched my youth group interact with each other.
I started to notice how different each of them were, and yet we are all able to get along. Most of us have grown up with each other so that just connected us even more.
I started to look closer at everyone and saw that all of us had something different in the area of talents.288Please respect copyright.PENANABPvKidbnZf
Then this idea popped in my head-288Please respect copyright.PENANAIEBuwar8t7
What if everyone else just disappeared and all that was left was just us. All we had was our talents, but only so much before we lost it.
Hence, Flairs was born.
Since then, I have gone around to every teen in our youth group and found all their middle names to use as their character's name and started dramatizing the conflicts and friendships amongst everyone.
I also had to change a couple of things.
For example- in real life, Elizabeth and Hunter don't actually hate each other like they do in the book. That is something I added to bring in some conflict.
Plus, Hunter and Thomas aren't that close of friends in real life as they become in this book.
Also, two of the characters in here actually have their real name instead of their middle name for their character, since I didn't want to have a Hudson and Hunter, and a Joseph and Josiah.
So yeah. Just a little background on what brought the inspiration for Flairs.
Hope you enjoyed!
