as a child I

collected all the old bottles

stuck in the dirt

and dug up the jars

left behind in the leaves

and I took all the cups

and the buckets

and the umbrellas

and I put them on the inside

and I learned how to cry like that

and even though I have all the

bottles

and

buckets

and

jars

and

cups

and

umbrellas

my tears overwhelm them

my vessels overflow

and my pain drips down the sides
