Reports are continuing to be confirmed that millions of people all over the world have disappeared at the same time. This includes every age and nationality. According to estimates, it is estimated that 144 million people have been reported missing. There were reports of cars abandoned on highways, school children suddenly disappearing from class, workers just vanishing and similar stories in every walk of life. Every community across the world have reported the same thing. This means that 1.8% of the world's population has disappeared in a matter of seconds. Needless to say, this has caused panic and grief all over the world. People do not know what happened to family members, fellow workers, neighbours etc. The public is afraid that this phenomenon will happen again. Scientists, police, doctors and world leaders cannot explain this. Law enforcement has said that it is impossible to investigate this, as there are so many cases. World leaders have called for calm and order, saying there must be a scientific reason for this.

My brother rang me today. He was trying to ring for hours but said the telephone lines were jammed with people trying to contact loved ones and friends that had suddenly gone missing. He of course did not believe a word of it and thought it was liberals trying to scare people. At the same time, Andrew was mad. It appears that my son had disappeared. My brother wanted to know if he was hiding at my apartment. This worried me, as I believed that the news was right that so many people had gone missing. I have experienced it when I was at a concert when it happened. Suddenly some people disappeared into thin air, including one of the musicians on stage. It worried me that my son was one of the victims. I was already mad at Andrew for arresting my son for no reason. So while he was telling me that my son was a fugitive, I hung the telephone down. I did not know what to do. Where was my son? I tried to ring my parents, but there was no answer. All I could do was wait by my phone and hope that my son would ring.

There was a lot of activity in the Vatican Church today. The strange event of people going missing had also affected the Vatican, Some clergy here also just disappeared. Some old men thought that this was the rapture that the Bible talks about. I do not believe this. There must be some scientific answer to what happened. If it was the rapture, then why is the Pope still here? I did not have one minute rest, as there were so many meetings and talks about what had happened and how the Vatican should respond. The Pope ended up giving a speech to the world that this was the time to pray. We needed to pray for the missing people as well as ourselves. The world needed to be calm and people needed to help each other. I suppose that this was the best the Vatican could do. It's not as if we could do a miracle and suddenly bring back these people. I was worried about my family, but I could not come in contact with them. The telephone connection was overburdened. I think that this is the worst, not knowing if the people you love are safe or not.

My nephew is gone. The Muslim man that I arrested had disappeared as well. Reports were flooding in my police station that people were gone missing all over the town. At first, I did not believe it. But now I do believe that something is wrong. The only evidence is the clothes and jewellery in a pile where the person when they disappeared. It could be explained if it was one person, but not so many at the same time. I told my secretary to file all the reports of people missing. There was no way that we could find them. I had to find my parents and the missing prisoners who escaped. I also had to keep order in my town. People were in a panic and this was dangerous. I think that people are like small frightened sheep. In times like this, they need a stern hand to control them. I was just the man that could do this.

Did we just experience the rapture? The rapture is believed to be an event in which believers in Jesus Christ are said to be taken up to heaven, either before or during a period of tribulation on Earth. If this was the end of time, then I was ready to meet Jesus and celebrate the new kingdom of God. This is what the world needed. The world is so screwed up and it only seems to get getting worse and worse. Immorality and violence are becoming more common. Injustice is becoming worse and innocent people are being hurt. I think politicians and rich people should visit the slum areas that are getting larger every day and have compassion for these people. The world needs a reset. Jesus and the kingdom of God is the answer to this.

I have decided to move back to my childhood home. My parents have all disappeared in what the people are calling “The Great Disappearance”. I needed to escape the city life. Maybe peace will help me. I have been depressed since my son and parents have gone missing. I do not know how my brother is doing in the Vatican or if he also disappeared. I was hoping that my daughter would come. Maybe it would calm her down and she can get her life in order. I was wild myself a few weeks ago, but the “Great Disappearance” seems to have opened my eyes. Something is wrong and there is no answer to it. So many have been killed in California, but that was just one place. There seem to be natural disasters all over the world. There has been a major meeting today about the Vatican's role in the world. The Pope announced that he believed that the Church should not get into politics. He reasoned that Jesus never got involved. I have always been laid back and did not let my voice be heard. However now I spoke up. I told the others that we must remember that Jesus helped the poor and the sick and spoke against injustices. The Church could not turn a blind eye to the misery that many people were experiencing. Everyone knows someone who went missing in the “great disappearance”. On top of this, there have been increasing natural disasters across the world. The death toll after the California is extremely high. There are also reports of a virus that can be worse than Covid. On top of this poverty and crime are out of control. The Church needed to be on the people's side. They needed us to be their voice. They needed us to give them hope. I think that the others were shocked at my outburst. To be honest, I was also surprised because of my outburst. After decades of being a clergy member I did not do anything special, I suddenly made myself noticed.

My recent outburst has brought a lot of attention to myself. The media have picked up what I have said and have been calling me the Catholic Church's knight in shining armour. I do not consider myself to be any sort of hero. I just noticed that the news was becoming darker and more morbid every day. More and more people were suffering. The worst is that there seems to be no hope. There seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel. I wish I could use my position to help the people that are suffering. I finally managed to contact my sister. She told me she was safe, but my parents and nephew were missing. I wanted to visit her and be there for her. The travel restrictions mean that I could not. Things cannot get any worse, could they?
