this is. not a story but its a jrpg ive been playing and i need to be really annoying about it or ill explode. anyways the protagonist is this poor ronin named Miyamoto Iori who is the student of a renowned samurai named Miyamoto Musashi, and successor to Niten Ichiryu. one night his house almost gets pummeled by a heroic spirit out to kill him as he is the last master for the ritual, but in a sheer will to live, he summons saber and officially joins the waxing moon ritual. at first hes constantly called weak and struggles going head to head with servants, but in his journey he makes alliances, becomes friends with rogue spirits, eliminates excess and more to ensure the peace of edo and to protect his sister kaya. however, theres more to meet the eye but i aint spoiling nothing (unless asked).

on another note, theres a dlc where the boss constructs this arena to quell a divine heroic spirit of the ruler class and theres two more dlcs to be unpacked in july and septemeber. im ill for fate/samurai remnant and im never getting out of this rabbit hole
