The local police force is problematic. They often exhibit a grumpy attitude and seem unmotivated, which is frustrating. Imagine being pulled over twice in the same day without a valid reason. Additionally, police responses to incidents are frequently delayed. For instance, when there were suspicious activities nearby, the police promised a swift response due to a nearby officer, but they arrived so late that I had to investigate myself. This is a common issue among many people I know.
My town also needs significant improvements, such as new roads, remodeled buildings, new construction, and more job opportunities to address unemployment. These improvements are crucial not only for tourism but also for the well-being of long-time residents. The town has a history of being known for various things, such as shooting movies and its food, and it used to have great potential.
