After Toivo had left the scene of the destruction he caused, he meant to make his way back to the boat and walked along the main road the same way he came, feeling frustrated all the way.
"If she wants to stay there and die then let her. She'll change her mind. But how do I explain that to the people back home? Do I just tell them that she wanted to stay here and I let her? They would all hate me for the rest of my life. I'd hate myself too if she actually stayed behind here." He thought to himself while walking forward and the road surrounded by forests reminded him of his first time travelling through the Deadland.
"I wonder what happened to that horse I had. Bastards sold it without asking me about it. Then again it wasn't really mine. The New Tower gave it to me and I just took it. I hope it got a good home. They probably just made sausage out of it. I shouldn't hope good things for anyone that I care about. Hoping is worthless. Didn't help Ilona one bit." He thought to himself after some more walking.
"I hope Three is doing well. But why? Hoping is pointless." He thought after some more walking.
"I should go get her back. What was I thinking? What if she actually stays there?" He thought and stopped walking.
He turned around looked at the road he had walked. He started walking back to where he left 32A and walked faster than he was walking before. After some more walking, he started hearing sounds from behind him. It was the distant sound of a vehicle coming from behind and he recognized it. He ran into the forest and lied down and stayed low. He didn't want to meet anyone here after how the last time went. When the vehicle passed, Toivo got up and looked at the vehicle. It was a familiar looking freight truck.
"It's going to the same way where Three is!" Toivo said out loud.
"What if they find her? I have to get back there!" He said and ran back to the road.
He started running along the snowy road to the same direction as the truck that was now out of his sight and hearing range. He ran along the road for a long distance and a long time. He kept running even when it hurt his knees, ankles and lungs, but he didn't allow that to stop him. He desperately wanted to stop running and start walking, but he knew that he couldn't do that now. He ran until he tripped simply because his feet couldn't carry him anymore. When he got up, he stumbled a little and then got up.
"Why are you failing me now? Guess I have to walk then. I can't rest." He thought to himself while extremely winded.
He kept walking until he saw the same truck parked now. He could see that the doors were open. He also saw from the distance that there were people inside, but before he could get closer he saw someone getting in the cargo space and closing the doors once inside. Toivo tried to shout something at the truck but his vocal cords failed him and he couldn't even get a peep out. The truck drove away and Toivo was left there to hold his knees. He went to the same forest road where the destroyed house was. He walked briskly along the forest road and saw footprints coming from there.
"Don't tell me she left already." Toivo quietly said and kept walking.
He saw the lake and the destroyed house on the other side of the lake. He went along the shores of the lake and tried jogging, but it exhausted him almost instantly, so he walked. Once he got to the property around the house he tried to call for 32A's name but couldn't get it out.
"Three! Are you here?" He called with his quiet exhausted voice.
He climbed on top of the wooden pile kicking the pieces around and at the top of it he looked around. He looked in every direction but didn't see what he was looking for.
"Quit this stupid show and let's go!" He shouted a little more loud, but heard no response other than the wind hitting the trees.
He sat down on the shattered wood, put his hands on his head and stared forward.
"Now Three's gone too. Has this day not been bad enough? I just allowed her to wander away and she's alone out there now." He said to himself while staring forward.
His head was full of panicked anger that he didn't let show on his face. The pile of firewood down at the ground went flying in all directions like it had just exploded. Tree trunks shattered as if a cannonball had been shot into them and ice on the lake was shattering when Toivo unleashed his frustration on everything around him.
"I'm a damn fool." He said while looking at the results of his anger.
"She'll come back soon. She always knows where I am. I'll just stay here and she'll come back. I'm getting carried away. I'll just wait. I'll apologize and we'll go home and take the yelling like adults. I shouldn't have stormed off like that." He said to himself to calm himself down.

After sitting there until it became dark, he was getting less and less confident that 32A would return.
"Please come back." He just quietly said and kept waiting.
"She really just left. Those footprints were hers. They led to the road. She got into that truck, didn't she? Where is that truck even going?"
"So if this is how it is, then I guess all I can do is accept it. Not even the first loss that I have to accept today." He said to himself and stood up.
It was already dark when he made his way back to the road. The forests around the road looked completely black as he once again walked along the road back the same way where the boat was. He struggled to remember the way back to the boat, especially in the dark, but eventually he came to the forest path that leads to where he left the boat.
When he was getting closer to the shore, he stopped himself suddenly. The truck that was there when the twins landed on the shore was no longer there. The truck starting was what woke up Toivo this morning so the truck being gone wasn't the thing that surprised him now. It was that something moving was where the truck used to be. Toivo went low and kept his distance. His eyes had gotten used to the dark at this point so it didn't take too long for him to see what the moving things were. They were wolves smelling the spot where the truck was. Toivo froze in place and kept watching the wolves from his low position. After about a minute, one of the wolves raised its head and sniffed the air. It then turned its head to the forest road where Toivo was waiting. It started walking towards Toivo and the others followed.
"Are they coming here? No, no, no. Stay back there." Toivo thought in his head and left the forest road to hide amongst the trees, but his steps made noise.
The wolves heard it and all five wolves turned their heads to where the noise came from. Two wolves ran to where the noise came from and caught Toivo. One wolf bit his foot and the other one jumped on him and tried to bite his neck. In his panicked state Toivo didn't hesitate at all to use his ability. The wolf that jumped on him got its head blow into pieces and its body fell on the wolf that attacked Toivo's foot. The wolf let go and Toivo tried to run towards the boat that wasn't too far now. The other wolf and the rest of the pack ran after him, and he heard them behind him. He turned around and every wolf that tried to attack him suffered the same fate as the first one. Once three more wolves had been dropped to the ground, the apparent leader of the small pack stood still and looked at Toivo who just stared back. Toivo eyed the wolves on the ground and then looked back at the remaining one. The remaining one looked at his eyes the entire time and saw what he was looking at. After a tense staredown, the wolf turned around and walked away.
"I'm sorry that I have no way to bring you all back." Toivo quietly said and looked at the dead wolves.
He then hobbled on one leg back to the boat where he sat down to look at his foot. It had nasty bite marks on it and the pain was immense.
"Usually I'd get these wounds healed right away. No such luxury for me anymore." He blurted out along with sounds of pain and bad words.52Please respect copyright.PENANAu4OtVajJVf
He had no bandages packed because he figured his sister could heal any wounds that anyone gets on the trip. He stood up and supported himself with the steering wheel of the boat. He started the boat and sailed towards the west.

And so once again Toivo was driving the boat over the gulf in the darkness, but this time alone. When he finally saw familiar shores, he was tired and hurt. He saw lights on the shore coming from some houses and knew that he was in the right place. He looked for the same dock where the boat was usually docked and once he found it, he stopped the boat by it. He vaulted over the edge of the boat and landed on the dock with both feet. He shouted in pain when his wounded foot hit the ground.
Mr. Nyman stormed out of his house and confronted Toivo.
"So you thought you could borrow from me without permission? You'll have to repay me some day. But you probably have more important things to worry about at the moment so don't worry about it for now." Mr. Nyman shouted at Toivo from the distance.
"I know I do. I'll get your damn fuel later. I have to rest this leg and I have to tell something to my family." Toivo said back when he hobbled past Nyman.
"That there is the more important thing to worry about, I should mention."
"What do you mean?" Toivo asked and turned around.
"While you were gone, the authorities came to arrest them and took them away."
"What?"
"Yep. Three cars showed up. I came outside and watched from the distance. The cops seemed to be very interested in that bus that you have parked outside the house. They also came to my door and asked me questions about it. I denied any involvement in it. It's actually a good thing that you took my boat because if the cops saw it, I'd be in trouble." Mr. Nyman said but halfway through his speech Toivo started making his way to his home as quick as he could with his wounded foot.
The front door was open and inside was silent. He looked into every room and called everybody's name, but only found out that Nyman was indeed correct. Nobody was inside. He sat down on the living room sofa and stared at the wall with empty eyes.
"I'm losing everybody today. This can't be real. This has to be a bad dream." He said out loud and made the window of the living room shatter.
It made him feel a little bit better. Usually when something shattered, there would be an immediate reaction, but in this empty house, nobody reacted to a window shattering. That just reminded Toivo about the fact that he is indeed alone now. Ilona was confirmed to be gone, 32A had left and the rest of his family was arrested. The house was cold and he was tired and in pain. It all became too much for him. He had to unleash some anger. He blew a large hole into the wall and sent broken pieces of wood flying forward.
"Why is this all happening?" He shouted alone in the cold and dark living room.
He got up from the sofa and went to the bathroom to get some bandages from the mirror cabinet there in hopes that it would at least help with the pain in his foot.
"I'll go get them back. I won't make the mistake that we did with getting Ilona back. I won't leave them behind like I left Three behind." Toivo murmured while wrapping some bandage on his foot.
When he was done with that, he went into the kitchen to take a knife and put it under his belt.
"I don't need much. If I need anything, I'll just take it from others." He said to himself.52Please respect copyright.PENANAbPDteqGpeD
He then took a page from his notebook and wrote on it:
"32A, if you come back here, they found us. We others aren't here anymore. They were arrested and now Toivo is going to find them."
He then rolled the paper up and put it in an empty bottle. He put the bottle on the first step that leads upstairs so that it'd be easy to find.
"I never should have gone on this trip. I shouldn't have left my family here alone. I could have protected them. Sampo even warned us. We didn't listen. But I won't lose the rest of my family because of it." Toivo said to himself as he was getting ready to leave.
He opened the front door and got ready to step outside. Outside he looked at the snow to see if he could detect any tracks, but it was dark and it had snowed so any tracks that there might have been, were impossible for him to see.
"Toivo! There you are!" Ella shouted from behind from the darkness and ran to Toivo and got close.
"Did you hear what happened to your family?" Ella asked.
"I heard. Now I'll go get them back." Toivo said back without even turning to look at Ella.
"Right now? All alone?" Ella asked.
"When else then?" Toivo asked back.
"Where's Three? I didn't see them take her." Ella asked yet another question but Toivo remained silent for a few soconds.
"We crossed the gulf. Three didn't want to come back here anymore." Toivo said.
"Oh no. Was she upset about what I said to her earlier? I tried apologising but she just brushed it off. I'm so sorr..."
"That's not the reason. We found out that our old friend is dead and she just lost all hope and wouldn't listen to me."
"And you just let her stay there?" Ella asked and Toivo went quiet again.
Ella couldn't see that he was boiling with anger, as Toivo was facing away from her the entire time.
"Too late to worry about that. I need to go get the rest of my family before I lose them too." Toivo said.
"How? You don't even know where they were taken!"
"They're probably just in the town's jailhouse. I'll bust them out of there."
"And how do you intend to do that? By just walking in and asking nicely? They're looking for you too after what happened the last time you went there." Ella asked.
Toivo then looked at the wall of his house and blew a large hole into that wall too.
"That's how."
