In the morning, there was a man staring at Pillow, laying underneath the tree and when Pillow spoke to him, the man quickly averted his gaze and continued his walk.
Pillow was kind of mad, he hadn’t not finished a job in more than ten years.
But maybe this was a sign, since this would’ve been his last mission, and he would’ve retired after murdering that jail warden.
He then heard some sound from the house below, so he looked around to see if anyone was near, and when no one was, he entered the home.
The unfamiliar coziness now nearly overwhelmed him, as Tom and Theo were talking happily about technology, and Dori, Natalie and May were discussing fashion through time.
He saw Lunox bring food from the kitchen, and she laid it on the table, and she did so as sensually as she could.
Pillow knew this flirty side of her was a facade though, but he couldn’t figure out what the real side could look like.
This frightened him, as he was the best around and he had always seen the motivations behind actions, the feelings behind masks and most importantly, the goodness of hearts.
He could see that in everyone in this house, but hers was hidden, he couldn’t see if it was there or not.
Maybe it had something to do with magic, maybe just a psychological trick, but Pillow had to know.
“Hey Pillow! I thought you’d never come!” Lunox said, being her flirty self. “Hello Lunox, you’ve prepared some eggs I see?” He asked.
“Yeah, I’m sure you’ll enjoy them” she said before letting out a short chuckle.
Pillow couldn’t keep his mind off of Lunox’s weird aura, it bothered him he couldn’t sense if she meant to poison him or not, but he still took a bite of the egg, finding it was better than any he’s had in his life.
When he expressed this, Lunox giggled, “Really? I just made simple eggs and it’s the best you’ve had? You’ve been culinary abused my friend.”
my friend, Part of Pillow like that.
This only conflicted him more though, because he never liked something like that.
The devil sat on his throne in Hell, he reminded himself it was his Daughter Jenna’s 2500th birthday, which meant it was time for him to marry her off to someone.
It was tradition that, if a woman had reached her 2500th birthday, she would be married off to a man her father thought was fit for it.
Luckily he had found someone a thousand years ago who would be a perfect fit.
A man named Xypher was the same age as Jenna, with great genes and much power.

At that thought, a guard came in to introduce a guest to the throne room.
“Miss Jenna Boree, Daughter of the Devil.” he said.
Then Jenna came in,
With her bright-red skin and curvy horns, people might have mistaken her for one of those beautiful arch-demons.
“Father, I have found my own Husband, you don’t have to look for one anymore.”
The devil now looked her in the eyes with a look of disgust.
“Foolish girl. You think I wouldn’t have a man ready for you? I had one ready for a thousand years and this is how you repay me?”

Jenna flinched as the devil threw one of the nearby bodies above her head.
“Father, please, at least meet him friendly, okay?”
The devil hesitated.
“Hmm, how are his genes?” He demanded.
Jenna got nervous, saying: “Uh, well, he is a very strong man, he’s got a job which requires a lot of-”
“Any other genetic feats?” He interrupted Jenna.
She sighed and said: “No.”
The devil then spoke: “I will not let you see him again, write him a letter with your last words for him.”
Jenna’s face grew even redder than its natural color and burst out.
“But father! Love is more important than genes! I don’t give a fuck about genes!”
The devils deep voice blasted through the room, “No, in this family, genes are important so that we don’t end up weak and vulnerable to an attack from other parties.”
Jenna then left the room and slammed the giant doors shut.
